I could see maybe a special hidden shop somewhere with Masterballs for sale, BUT they would have to be REALLY HIGH PRICED like $100,000/each..

As long as we get 2-4 in the new game since I know their going to toss like 8 legendaries at us, they always add more then the last game, then it'll be fine. Some of us get frustrated after trying to catch the same pokemon 10+ times and want the satisfaction of seeing the thing actually STAY in a ball once in a while.

you make it sound like you never played later games, and still think legendaries can only be caught with master balls....well did you? if not, legendaries can now be caught with every other pokeball, and if you need a master ball, you can trade someone online.
 
seriously disagree it would take the fun and skill out of the game it would basically be cheating ,, catching ratatta with masterball lmaooo outrages ! lol
 
I think it'd be great :) ... Nah, I kid. I just wanted to go against everyone else :P
Seriously though, I agree with everyone here. Having Masterballs available at the Pokemart would make the game too easy and there would be no challenge left in it.

i caught entei with one fast ball, after a few encounters of hurting it. probably had high speed stat
 
It does seem like a good idea to an extent, I remember wasting my Master Ball the first time I played Blue so buying them again would be useful but then they could just be bought over and over probably ruining the point of catching Pokémon. =\
 
I really don't get why people are so against this idea. Let's say it was put into the game, it's not like you HAVE to buy them, and it's not like NPC's would hand you bags of Masterballs.

It doesn't really change the game unless you want to change YOUR game.
 
i'm for it. but how about making the price of them 999,999 dollars?
max money for a one time use pokeball. i like it:)

The specitaly balls have higher catch rates then the Ultra Balls in the right situation. I think that the Master Ball should be available for purchase but at a very high price and after defeating the Elite Four.
 
I would only agree with this if the Master Ball would cost a whole lot, like 100,000 - 500, 000 Poke Dollars.
 
They should have more methods of obtaining them but selling them, na. Would make it to easy. Get a 100 win streak in battle tower or something. The ID number lottery is a bit silly, chances are winning are so slim.
 
I'd rather have Cherish Ball as a store item. Master Ball kinda sucks. I'll use it on legends first time, then trade for the data so I can Repeat Ball.
