    But how do you trade pokemon that you havent seen (The legendaries that can only be obtained from the japanese or events) over WiFi?

    It wont let me search for pokemon that I have not seen.

    You don't.

    You'll have to either obtain them yourself or exchange friend codes and trade with someone who is willing to either lend them to you for the dex data or actually trade you the legendary itself.
     
    and that would also go for imported pokemon that come from events ex: Lugia
     
    ...That was kind of implied.
