Mega evolution not appearing in battle menu

    Hello, I was recently adding Mega Evolutions of certain Pokémons. I also added the mega stones and mega ring, however nothing appears in the battle screen, but why? I also checked the properties of the items and they should work from what I saw on tutorial videos and from what I read across the forum and the wikipage of essentials. I use 16.2
