Hey guys, I'm new here. I'm a female gamer (yay) and I have played Pokemon games since I was very little, my favourite being Silver/Soul Silver. Johto is my favourite gen and Hoenn is my least favourite.
My favourite ever Pokemon is Marill, I had a plush of her when I was younger (yes, she was a girl lol) I used to take her everywhere. I think it sucks that Marill is so weak in the games, but I did a play-through of Silver using only Marill when I was younger, and succeeded :D. (Got someone to trade me one early on.) I also like Espeon, Blastoise, Raichu, Cyndaquil and it's evo's, and Snivy and it's evo's, and Mew.
Having played through the games numerous times, I am now trying to go through them using pokemon who are normally over-looked. You know, the one's people go "Why on earth do you have that on your team?" Either because they are not considered strong enough, or simply because there is another more-popular pokemon of that type that most people prefer to use in the game.
Having this in mind, I really joined to tell people about this new in-game challenge I created, which has turned out a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I call it 'The Pokemon Cookies and Cream Challenge'. The idea of the challenge is to catch and train a ton of pokemon in-game (a new team with every badge!) Giving the commonly rejected ones their share of the spotlight. It has been a lot more enjoyable than I imagined, and I have trained Pokemon I never even considered using before.
I was eager to share the fun, so like the noob I am I posted the rules in the General Discussion board, and then realised there was a designated section for Challenges. I realise there is nothing wrong with it being on the General Discussion board, as it is a board for any topic, but I am waiting for it to be accepted onto the Challenge board. Then I will probably start the challenge again, along with whoever wants to join me. It will most likely be deleted off the general discussion board shortly, so please give it a read whilst you can and let me know what you think.
Phew, that was long! Happy training :)
