Being from Texas, I'm probably one of the last people at PC to make their obligatory "Christmas Morning Blog Post" in light of all the Aussies, Asians, and Euros we have here. XD
This isn't the best Christmas ever or anything since one of my family members is still separated from the rest of us, but it's definitely more Christmaslike than my last two Christmases since my mom is finally back home to enjoy it.
As far as gifts, all I got was a $50 Best Buy gift card from my mom and a promise from my brother that he'll buy me something expensive in the future. Personally, I'm the kind that likes to give more than receive, and I'm proud to say that the gifts I bought for them were received with gleeful expressions, even the greeting card that was "from" the dog was unanimously thought of as a cute idea. XD
As far as the rest of the day will go, I'm a little disappointed that I'll be foregoing my extended family's Christmas gathering, but at least it's in favor of something a bit more personal and touching, at least for my mom.
The three of us will be visiting my father in prison, technically making it the first Christmas that we'll all be together on since '06. :o
