i was training primeape and i finally ran into mesprit in the wild when i wasnt prepared, it fled right away, will it still appear in the wild another time???

Like Phrase said its like the legendary dogs in G/S. Just look up its data on the Pokedex and its location.

A trapinch, diglet, or dugtrio will also keep it there, but i dont suggest wasting your master ball on it, unless you can get more ide save that for cresselia

You'll run into it again. Get a marking map from the president of the Poketech company in Jubilife city.
If you do want to run into it again, Make sure you have some of these things.
-Pokemon w/ Mean look, etc.
-Wobbufet, Pokemon w/ Arena trap ability
-LOTS of Great Balls/Ultra Balls
-Pokemon w/ that can inflict a sleeping condition
-Patience
Yeah and that's about it.
If you do want to run into it again, Make sure you have some of these things.
