I am currently obsessed with all things Metal Gear...

It started two weeks ago when I happened to rent a copy of MGS:The Twin Snakes using one of my five free rentals that I get weekly for working at Blockbuster. I popped in the game that same day and I started playing about 3:00 in the afternoon. That night around 11:30 I finally convinced myself to stop playing & hit the sack, but I couldn't stop thinking about the great story that MGS:TTS had. The next morning I started playing from where I left off on disc 2 & soon afterwards I beat the game. After finishing the game I had a weird depressing feeling boiling up inside me. Probably from the fact that I knew the game was finally over, but that didn't really matter to me. What mattered was that I had just played one of the most impacting games I've played in the past few years... Since those fateful two days I've bought a PS2, played MGS:Substance, beat the old NES Metal Gears, read up on Metal Gear history, created a Hideo Kojima cult/club (J/K), & learned to play the Metal Gear Solid theme song on my guitar. I am currently awaiting the release of MGS:Snake Eater.

For those of you who have already played the PS1 version of MGS (however many years ago), count yourself lucky that you seized the chance early on.

So um, talk about MGS here... XD

I too am a huge Metal Gear Solid fan XP we should make a fan club XD.

I just love the story in Metal Gear Soild, if you ask me it could easily be made into some sort of movie without a doubt, after finishing MGS 2: Son's of Liberty/Substance, MGS became one of my favourite game series, and now after just beating Twin Snakes yesterday, I really want to see what Snkae Eater is going to be like, seeing how it is based in the 1960's, proberly when Big Boss was alive.
