it gives the eyes a somewhat throbbing pain... text effects... just ick. would have been much better had you not made it so bright. there's not much going on in the background, and at first look you wouldn't notice that because it's so bright, but... you look at it for a while, and you notice that there's hardly anything in there :/

the font certainly isn't eye-candy. no special effects, basic font... it's a futuristic game, a tech font would work far better.

They definately need to be darker, and text effects would be nice, not to mention the fact that the text is blurry. Other then that, they're okay.

oh, yes, one more thing (or a few) your lightning looks... like you just brushed it there. what you've got to try to do is to fade it into the background sorta, so it looks like it's actually there. second, why make the main text consistent when you're gonna make the style for your name inconsistent? oO

Well, the text for my name is different because I was using a different computer that didn't have the same font on it. And for the lightning it looks that way beacause I basicly did just stamp it xD. The main text, I tried looking for a metroid font but couldn't find one so this was the closest looking font to it on my computer.

did you try DaFont? they have a bunch of metroid fonts.
