Almost all of us know about the move Metronome (introduced in Gen 1), and very few of us actually like the move (seeing as how it generally goes wrong).
Time to raise the stakes!
In this game, the rules are very simple and almost 100% cheating proof (in case anybody is a sore loser and doesn't want to lose).
Here is how it works:
Two members of this website will square off with ANY Pokemon of their choosing. However, as the judge, I (and 2 other members (if anyone wants to help out)) will determine the winner of the match based on two key elements:
1: Who struck first.
2: Who was Super Effective.
Now, you're probably wondering... "but wait, how do we know who struck first and who is playing fairly doing so?"
And that, my friend, is simple!
Using this website https://www.random.org/dice/, each player will roll their dice.
A score of 5 or 10 is Super Effective.
A score of anything else (but doubles) is a Miss.
A score of doubles is a Re-Roll.
Simply roll the dice, screenshot the roll + timestamp, upload to imgur, and share on here.
But wait... what if both people roll Miss or Super Effective?
Then both of them lose and 2 new contenders will step up.
First person to share their roll gets advantage (unless they roll a Miss).
But wait... what if they just keep rolling until they get Super Effective or Re-Roll?
Welcome to the purpose of time stamps.
If your time stamp is more than 30 seconds difference, you automatically fail and lose.
First 6 winners (each time)will face off for the Metronome Championship.
(Also, if this seems unbalanced, crooked, or broken, then crowd vote based on likes/thumbs up will determine the winner.)
That being said, I'll go first, you have 1 minute to respond with a roll and Pokemon.
