Mew = Arceus ???

    Since I am really tired, I am thinking really slowly. So please dont angry if you think this is really obvious....

    Isnt mew and arceus's story kind of the same? I mean, besides a few minor differences here and there, they both are like the "creator" or something.

    Is Arceus the creator of the universe, and mew of pokemon?Then wouldnt Arcues not be considered a pokemon?Well anyway, please help me out, It is driving me crazy!!!
     
    Umm...no, they're not the same. As far as I can tell, Mew is one of the genetic ancestors of all other pokémon species (Although Deoxys and Arceus can be debated here) whereas Arceus is the mythical creator of the world. Thus, by induction, Arceus would have created Mew and then Mew would then have been responsible for creating the other species. (No, don't ask me who the flip Mew bred with x.O) But then again, since we're dealing with creation myths here having two contradicting each other isn't out of the question. :3

    Arceus is scum and should die. Of all the Pokemon they created this one I hate the most, I mean they just had to create a Pokemon 'God' didn't they. Don't get me wrong this is not about religion, but having a God Pokemon that created the universe is just silly. I mean if its so powerful how can I just capture it and make it obey me. To me Arceus goes against everything that Pokemon means to me. Sure its all fantasy, but Pokemon was never about all-powerful being, the legends were as far as it went and they really weren't all that strong really. Arceus is something else, and that something would best be described as horrible or thereabouts.

    Throw in the fact thats its pretty broken ingame and there is another reason to hate . It learns pretty much anything and has huge stat totals IMO, if you are playing in the uber tier Arceus seems to be quite a staple. Throw in the fact its ugly (Mew is cute, and not so powerful) and you have yourself one unlikable Pokemon. All I have to say is thankfully it can't hold an item because it has to hold a plate.

    Umm...no, lul, Arseus can use items just like anyone else. The only plate worth considering is the bug one since it lets it OHKO the multitude of psychics in the metagame. Rejoice, though; Arceus may even end up banned from the uber metagame. Anyways, your post was basically completely beside the point since the topic isn't 'Do you like Arceus?' or 'is Arceus the most ridiculously broken pokémon ever?' (Even though it is); it's about its place in the franchise. Maybe try to post something on that?
