Milotic Moveset

    Here's my Milotic moveset, in game. Note: This is NOT a Netbattle moveset. I'm just creating an in-game one.

    Milotic@Leftovers
    No current EV calculations
    Female

    Current Moves
    Attract
    Ice Beam
    Mirror Coat
    Surf

    Surf for fire pokemon and such; ice beam for those pesky grass pokemon, etc. Attract, since most Pokemon are male, and Mirror Coat just in case.
     
    where do you get moliic? i can not find it!

    Looks good to me. If you EV train your Milotic, make sure it has Sp.Defense EVs for Mirror Coat.

    EVs:252 HP, 129 Sp. def, 129 def/252 HP, 200 Sp. def, 58 def
    Nature:Modest
    Ice Beam
    Surf
    Recover
    Refresh

    This is just my opinion.

    If your going to use Mirror Coat, then you should have less Sp. def EVs.
     
    latias45, this is only for people RATING. Not trying to sound harsh, i'm just trying to inform you.

    Sp.defense ev's wouldn't be too good, since Mirror Coat would do less damage. I'm thinking of sp.att along with defense... I'm not raising my sp.defense all the way. Maybe 128 sp.d would work...

    Good point... but you want Milotic to stay in battle as long as possible right? Defense EVs would be good too.... :/
     
    You really need Recover in there somewhere, Leftovers wont heal you enough to stay alive. Surf is on any Milo that knos wat its doing. Ice beam is OK but I like Toxic, but thats only viable if you put Recover in there somewhere. Mirror Coat is good as pretty much nothing will OHKO you with max Sp Def. As for EVs, both defences are good as it makes Milotic near impossible to kill, which is another bonus for Toxic. But if you want IB and Surf then a few Sp Atk EVs are needed. The biggest problem with Surf/Refresh/Toxic/Recover is it cant hurt subbing grasses easily. But you have IB so thats not a worry. The only thing I strongly recommend on it is Recover.
     
    Thats why I have leftovers. Besides, this is just fun/in-game. Maybe for Battle Tower purposes, and I can knock those Pokemon out easily. I'm trying to go for "No way! You made my Pokemon faint!" kind of thing.

    I'm willing to make some sacrifices, and if things get hectic, i'll switch. Plus, Attract makes most male Pokemon pretty immobile.

    I'm not one for refresh, sorry. ^^
     
    just an ingame obtainable set for battle tower that I like is:

    Milotic@ lefties
    ~Rest
    ~Sleep Talk
    ~Ice Beam
    ~Surf

    Rest activates marvel scale and it doesn't F*** die

    for a long time
     
    I thought Status abilities like Marvel Scale and Guts only activate with Burns, Poison and Paralyses. Im sure I read that before somewhere.
     
    here is my in game one:

    IV's:
    All over 20, most over 25, i dont have exact numbers... (total is over 165 though)

    My ev's:
    220 on HP
    like 200 shared between sp. def and def.
    a little on speed (should break 200 mark)
    a few on special attack.


    Moves:
    Surf
    Confuse Ray (bred it with a laparas)
    Toxic
    Recover


    you dont really need ice beam AND surf, though it doent hurt. With STAB, and considering that no one has 100% water resistance, it should do good.



    I love mine, she owns. I can go into a gym with half hitpoints, and come out full... As long as i bring elixr things....




    You get milotic by maxing out feeba's beauty, than growing one level. Feebas can be found on route 118 by fishing, but you have to fish every single squere because its nl all of them. Once you find its squere, i reccomed you catch a female atleast, so you can breed later if needed....



    BTW, i hatched over 40 eggs, and specifically selected the stronges feebas i could find or breed.

    The father of my milotic had ~177 total IV's.... which is just insane... it didnt have a nature suited to special attack though....
    BTW, i will trade him, it feels like a waste to have someone with kickass IV's sitting in a box :(

    Excuse me, but what about Water Abosrbers? Thats why I like Toxic over IB.

    theres not many though....
    and yea, i agree, toxic works nice againt 'em...
     
    It doesnt matter if its in-game you need to boost its special defense and give it recover or its gonna take whippins against the elite 4 (especially the second wave) unless your planning on having it up to like level 80 by the time you have the Elite 4 secod wave

    So when you find people to trade with you only trade and dont battle? If so your milotic's fine if not it gets owned by vaporeon and any other water absorber.

    p.s. I dont see what the point is of "rate this, oh by the way its only ingame so the moveset is not important", then sit there and defend and argue about the moveset you have on it then whats the point of rating it? If you have a water pokemon with mirror coat you NEED boosted special defenses or your gonna die to 2 or maybe 1 thunder/thunderbolt and theres is not 1 electric pokemon in g/s/c, r/b/y, or Ru/sa/Fr/Lg that milotic is faster than, leftovers does not save you from stabed thunders/thunderbolts when you dont have maximum sp.def.

    I suggested that because a special sponge Milotic is beast mode.

    I didn't think that Water Absorbers work on Ice Beam, concidering it's an ice type attack.     :\
     
    I like Surf, Ice Beam, Recover, Refresh, sometimes I throw Toxic over Refresh, but by not having Refresh it allows you to take advantage of Marvel Scale, which is always good.
     
    I know, I was just saying that it can be used with Toxic.

    Same as what you said but Toxic > Refresh.

    Lol, I'm a little late but, I tested it and rest does activate marvel scale
