Wow, in the past I've been unable to join any HP RPG's. But now I'm in one on another forum, plus hopefully this one too! Now to dig up a character I used in an RPG three years ago...

Name: Selenine Anders
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Description: Selenine is about a meter-and-a-half tall. Her skin is a light peach colour, her eyes are dark gray, and her hair is slightly curly and seems to be black at the top and dark red at the bottom. When she has her robes on, she puts the hood up as often as she can, and when not wearing them, she usually wears dark colours or bright blues and purples, but never T-shirts or anything that shows too much skin. She also often wears a necklace with a teal oval for a charm, and sometimes a black hat as well. Also, she wears glasses, and she has a few freckles on her cheeks that occasionally make her look rather cute.
Personality: Selenine shows strong interest in anything supernatural or dark in nature. For the most part she keeps her head in the clouds and her mind open, but she is very shy when it comes to social matters. She finds peace in solitude, and stress in crowds. She is enthusiastic about other matters such as education (especially in magic), but she doesn't really like to put in full effort for something, and she doesn't have much energy either. Anyways, the only thing Selenine occasionally fears is physical pain--perhaps that's just an instinct. She's not really afraid of anything else--she says Voldemort's name all the time without flinching, and she even thinks dementors are rather cool. Often the most common type of ambivalence she has is a desire to do some sort of evil thing (such as killing someone or causing some sort of harm to others), combined with a knowledge of bad karma and her conscience. This desire is often fueled by her otherwise sadistic and vengeful nature, and often times it leads to depression.
Other: Selenine is a fourth-year Slytherin student. She has a pet cat named Mystrica--or is she a cat? Mystrica is basically a white cat with deep blue eyes, but she also has white wings on her back, blue bird-like talons on her feet, and a tuft of blue feathers on the end of her blue-striped tail. Both fortunately and unfortunately, she cannot be affected by any kind of magic, unless she's not the target that is.
History: Selenine knew about magic long before she attended Hogwarts (she even got her wand two years before she attended Hogwarts), especially with Voldemort around. She had often imagined the life of a Death Eater--she thought it awesome as far as all those dark powers go, but Voldemort was always very harsh to them--they seemed almost like slaves to her. Perhaps it was Voldemort himself that sparked her interest in the Dark Arts as well. Speaking of which, in her three years at Hogwarts, she never put any really harmful curses on anyone unless someone did a similar thing to her. But, at home it's a different story. Now, her mother was a witch that was rather overprotective, and she feared Voldemort very much. Her father was a muggle and didn't like magic at all, thus the two parents would argue or fight over the matter. Her dad kept yelling at her for studying magic, and her mother did nothing to stop it. (Sounds like Harry Potter's adopted parents, eh?) Anyways, this conflict (but more like her interest in the dark arts and her sadistic nature) caused her to murder them not too long ago--with nothing other than the killing curse itself. To Selenine's greatest relief, the Ministry of Magic never found out about this, but there was a karmatic cost: she adapted a conscience that from that moment on prevented her from doing a similar thing again. One of her secret goals this year is to overcome that conscience, but who knows how long that will take...

Eh, I hope Selenine doesn't seem too, um... powerful, I guess you might say... I just wanted to make her character a bit more interesting. Besides, the thing about murder was in the last RPG Selenine was in, so I had to re-use it somewhere...
