Before I get reamed for using pokemon of a single type in a team, consider two things: 1) it is for a specific gym leader kind of tournament/group, and 2) have you ever tried to take on such a team? It really is more difficult than it would seem as (hopefully) you will see.
Now, here's my tentative team. Take my word that they are all properly EV trained as to suite their roles as I do not wish to list stats. I ended up training more than these six because i kept changing my mind during the team-building process so I have legitimate alternates that are already, or mostly, trained. I'll list them after.
Kingdra @ Lum Berry?
Swift Swim
-Rain Dance
-Waterfall
-Draco Meteor
-Rest?
Kingdra - weak only to the Dragon type - no typical Grass and Electric weaknesses here. The Rest (and corresponding Lum Berry) is the possible weak point in this setup. The problem, of course is Kingdra's very limited movepool. The idea is to Dance for speed and power, Lum Rest to recover any damage, and sweep with new speed. Speed is 384 with Rain Dance in effect at lvl. 100. But, why not just Dance and start sweeping. I'll have taken one hit either on the Dance turn or the Rest turn anyways, so it seems an extraneous addition other than the possibility to cure status. Ideas?
Ludicolo @Leftovers*
Rain Dish
-Rain Dance
-Leech Seed
-Toxic
-Hydro Pump
Classic annoy and destroy Ludicolo. Helps keep dance in play with Kingdra for my other Waters to take advantage of. Again, normal resistance to Water's two weaknesses, Grass and Electric and the only one with a weakness to Flying or Poison. The * is an item conflict with...
Slowbro @Leftovers*
Own Tempo
-Calm Mind
-Slack Off
-Psychic
-Surf
Classic tank/sweeping. If they can't take him down in 2 turns (easier said then done in this case with rockin' Defense, HP, and Calm Mind), then they're in a world of trouble. Unfortunately he not only falls prey to Water's general weaknesses - Grass and Electric -, but also to the common enemies of Psychic types. That said, however, I need only use my other resisting pokes to rid my opponent of said pokemon before bringing him out. And again, he's thick, he can take a supereffective hit.

-Curse
-Earthquake
-Waterfall
-Hammer Arm
The obvious counter when your opponent brings that Electric type or Electric move user in. The price, unfortunately is a 4x weakness to Grass, but I'd wager that if they have Electric moves, they won't have Grass. And besides, that's his only weakness. Other than that, straight physical sweeping. I need an item here (possibly a Quick Claw?) opinions about using Curse without 1) a recovery move, a.k.a. Rest, and 2) obviously, the speed to sweep with once you've buffed yourself and taken hits.
Tentacruel @ Focus Band/Salac Berry?
Clear Body
-Barrier
-Mirror Coat
-Toxic
-Brine
Special Sponge with the best of them. Not weak to Grass, and the only one weak to Ground and Psychic. Another counter to someone throwing thunderbolts around. This thing WILL take the supereffective hit and WILL Mirror Coat you something awful. It has some good speed as well - base 100 and 129 EVs in it. The Brine... I wanted to use it alright. And besides, after a Mirror Coat, you're probably going to be below half HP, plus it might be raining, so it'll hurt. Makes him a good cleanup sweeper for a pokemon that still has a little HP left as well.
Starmie @ Life Orb/Petaya Berry?
Natural Cure
-Surf
-Psychic
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt
My OU splurge... I try to avoid using lots of OU pokemon and I think I did ok... Timid and EVed in Speed, this one's fast... and self explanatory. I need help choosing the item, though. Unfortunately it's the same type combo as the Slowbro, but... I'll try to get over it. Only two pokemon weak to Electric AND Grass in an all Water team sounds good to me.
Now, having just said that... I have three that are weak to Bug and no Bug killing moves, and I realize this. Most Bugs have another type that I DO have a remedy for or... the move is gonna be an X-Scissor from some non-Bug Pokemon. I also have three weak to Grass and three weak to Electric (two of the three overlap). As for Electric: one is immune, two have normal resistance. Grass: two resist, and one is normal.
My viable alternatives that I mentioned at the beginning are: Milotic, Gyarados, Cloyster, Vaporeon, and Empoleon. These are either already trained for another team, or were trained for this team and then replaced.
Thanks in advance for the input and sorry for the lengthy post.
