3rd Gen Monotype Challenge, Firered and Leafgreen style!!

Welcome to the Monotype challenge… Firered Leafgreen style!

Well, the title says all. This is a Monotype challenge for the remakes of two of the greatest and most innovative games ever created. Since Darkjagwar made one of these for the originals… I guess you can call this remake of a remake Monotype challenge XD.

Anyway, I made this after A.) The popularity of the other challenge for RSE (yes I also saw the ones on the Metal/Color boards XD), and B.) Many people didn't get to do the other one.

Once again, credit to DJ for making this whole thing possible –cries-.

RULE TIME!:

-Dual types are allowed as long as that Pokemon has that type

-If the starter is not that type Gameshark is allowed ONCE to obtain a Pokemon of that type

-HM Slaves can be used only for their HM and to catch weak wild Pokemon (they can only gain one level ON ACCIDENT! After that you must release them)

-No Flying type Teams, as it is not a regular type

-No Dragon, Ice, or Ghost types, as they are too uncommon

-NO CHEATING…. PERIOD!

-You may trade for evolution

-No duplicate species (You can't have a team with six Ponytas… I'm sorry)

-The challenge will end after you beat the E4… unless I find a good excuse to make you all do the Sevii Islands as well (and you probably will have to beat the E4 again after they leveled up).

-No legendaries, as they are cheap and mean

-There are separate Rock/Ground teams

-Post your progress

-"Trained" Charmander to lvl 7
-Battled no one up until the Viridian Forest, then I searched for a Pikachu for about 5 mins
-Found one and caught it
-I am currently training Pika (I have the WHOLE Viridian forest to cover...then Brock)

Yes you can. Like you can either GET an abra from another LG/FR cartridge... and you can also trade to evolve the Kadabra.

-Beat Eric [Gary]. [i had to use my potion from my PC, Charmander was relentless!!]
-Got the Parcel / Pokedex.
-Had a severe case of Alzheimer's and forgot that Nidoran M/F were not on route 22!!! no...
-Trudged onwards, running away from Spearows. :o
-Had an epic battle with a persistent Pidgey. [Leech Seed ftw]
-Breezed by Viridian Forest.

I believe so, only Charmander, Ponyta, fire etc...
but Pikachu may be used as a HM slave [i.e. Flash]
Pikachu can't battle, but can assist in capturing pokemon though.

-used my gameshark to get a beldum
-trained it allllll the way to lv 18
-now i just got to battle brock for my first badge
-and soon i will be trading a lv 15 abra so can evolve it to kadabra then alakazam
