Hay guys, for those that don't completely dislike the Dream World: what's your favourite mini-game and area? And of course, which is your least favourite mini-game and area? Also, if you can remember, it'd be great to see your high scores in any of the mini-games you play!

And FINALLY do you think the mini-games could have been easier - or harder? I could probably think of more questions so I'll leave it up to ya'll - just remember, if you're speculating on future Dream World areas, there's a thread for that.

Discuss the current mini-games and areas!

If I ignore my biggest reason for the hatred of the Dream World, then I don't completely dislike it. My favourite game would have to be the Wailord game. This is probably because it finishes fairly quickly and it doesn't take much effort. The Combee game would be better, but you have to use a berry, and that's always annoying. The other mini-games are annoying because they take a lot of time/effort. I once got a really high score on the find the Pokemon game. This is because I moved one space, found the item, moved another and found the Pokemon. The Dream World games could be a little harder, it is really hard to fail at them, you actually have to do it on purpose to achieve it really. What they really need is more mini-games because it gets really repetitive.

In my opinion, the easiest games are the 'Search for a Pokémon' and 'Sky Race' games. It's easy to quickly search the map for the Pokémon's berry; the actual Pokémon is always hiding near its berry. And Pelipper's game is pretty simple to control and get up to max speed; I pretty much always get a score of 40000+ on both those games.
I'm trying to get more points to unlock the rarer Pokémon in each area; I want to get a Sableye for my team.

Favourite Mini-Game is the Search one because it's the quickest. I only play 95% of the mini-games for the 20 DW points, and that one is the best.

Least Favourite Mini-Game is the ice cream one. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what, but the highest I've scored is like 12,000. I always skip this one unless I don't have the female of whatever Pokemon it is because it also takes a long time and is very boring.

My highest score was achieved in the Wailord game at 93,000. Needless to say the Goldeen was extremely happy, lol. Basically the stars aligned and the third and fourth Pokemon didn't spawn from a crappy direction.

Favourite Zone is always the newest one, for obvious reasons. It's the only one I enjoy having come up. Likewise, my least favourite are the ones I no longer need anything from. But if I was new to the Dream World I would choose the Rugged Mountain anyway.

My favorite area is the rugged mountain because that's where most of the pokémon I don't have are. The other being the Sparkling Sea for Chinchou and Shellder.
Least favorite area is Windswept Sky. Yes, it's blue, but it likes color and the shapes are very alike. My eyes don't like it.

Favorite minigame is the pokémon search. I go straight to the berry, then look in the adjacent areas for the pokémon I'm looking for. It's fast, so I like it. I don't really aim for scores because they don't change a thing, so... :x
Least favorite minigame is without a doubt the Wailord game. It takes too long.

Pfft, it takes like 2 whole minutes of concentration, that's total effort. :x

Aaand the berry game, yeah, it'd be better if they had berries to choose from to get the different combinations and not yours, but I guess it's backing up that you should be using the berries.

Agreed, the Pelipper game is amazing and I always aim to go to full power as quick as I can. XD

You know you need to only get above the 20 inch mark and then not do anything else until the timer occurs, right? Since you make it seem like you try to do it for the entire time period. XD

Anyway! My view of the mini-games.

    Personally I think the game from the Spooky Mansion takes the longest, but is one of the most enjoyable. I take great joy in outwitting the computerized Pokemon by using my own ~strategy~ and I generally let it time out at the end of the game if I'm going to lose and get the blue candle ;;

The Sableye game is hard to play on a touchpad, especially when drawing V's, HOWEVER, on a mouse, it's really, really, really easy. I got like 12 gems + 4 stars on it in one playthrough which was pretty good for me, who, before that, could only draw a "/" but now I can draw V's, I sorta enjoy it more. :3

Find a Pokemon is boring and useless, idc if it's quick, it's the most boring of all imo.

    Berry game is fuuun :3

Pelipper is so much fun too.

And Wailord is generally boring, but I kinda favour just one Pokemon and try to keep bouncing that.

As for favourite areas, Rugged Mountain / Sparkling Sea. Generally they have the females of many Pokemon I don't have, and I generally dislike Spooky Mansion because IT'S SO COMMON, the sky area because I have everything "good" from there in female, and Pleasant Forest because I have the females of everything there AND THE ITEMS AND POKEMON SUCK IN GENERAL ANYWAY. :(

I'm best at the Pelipper game, and I HATE the candle game, I also hate spooky manor.

I've taken a liking to the Sableye gem collecting game. It makes good use of my tablet and I think I've pretty much memorized the lines/shapes/letters sequence. My highest score was 51000 plus a little more. The games could have been a bit harder. They're so easy I don't really go on much, except to get new Pokemon.
