Most annoying Pokemon wild pokemon battle you remember?

I wonder if any of you have had an annoying encounter with a wild pokemon. For me it was a Geodude. I had a Staravia, Monferno andGabite around lv 26 in Platinum when a Geodude appeared in Mt. Coronet I think... He used Rock Polish time while I changed from Staravia to Monferno. Then used Rock polish again and I used Mach Punch which left him in GREEN life, I couldn't believe it... Rock Polish again, I left him in Red. Then uses Magnitude 8 or 10, can't remember, Critical Hit and good bye monferno. Rock Throw with Staravia, another Critical plus super effective and KO staravia. With Gabite, I had him in yellow life already, used selfdestruct and he ended up beating my three precious pokemon T.T

I battled Rayquaza, nuff said. I tried to slowly subdue it until it was time to throw countless Ultra Balls.

... I underestimated it. I only went to the Sky Pillar with two level 60 Pokémon and the rest was at their mid-40's. Well, long story short, and after a couple of Outrages, my team was decimated.

Not to mention Murkrow and Misdreavus are harder to catch than Dialga and Palkia, so it seems.

I have a couple of annoying wild battle stories:

Shortly after starting a game in Leaf Green, my Rattata battled a Metapod. All she knew was Tackle, and Metapod was two levels higher than her, so you can imagine how long that battle took...

Battles with Torkoal in the Magma Hideout in Emerald can be really annoying. Those Torkoal know Smokescreen AND Protect. I've encountered one with my Lairon, who knew Iron Tail, Strength, Rock Tomb, and Protect. My Lairon used Rock Tomb but missed. Torkoal used Smokescreen. Same thing happened for two more turns. Then the Torkoal alternated between Protect and Smokescreen and the occasional Fire Spin for a few turns, while my Lairon only hit with Rock Tomb once before running out of PP. Then Torkoal used Flamethrower, taking out nearly half of my Lairon's HP. Fortunately next turn Lairon KO'd Torkoal with Strength, but still...

Likewise, the Geodudes and Gravelers that appear so frequently in D/P. They almost always know Selfdestruct or Explosion, which usually KO's the Pokemon I'm trying to train. Of course, it's fun to watch a Geodude use Selfdestruct when I have a ghost Pokemon out, but still...
