    Hey guys, a little while back I started deep diving into ROM hacking and making my own story and game. I knew it would be a longshot since I have zero experience in all of this but I spent a good time determined to learn the ins-and-outs of what it takes to get started. I started with PDSMS and I do thoroughly enjoy map building but I get stuck and I've lost the motivation because of lack of inspiration. The inspiration was so strong at one point, and I had some "life things" happen that kind of killed my drive into learning something new and something that I'm feeling passionate about. Is there anybody that has experienced that, and has pulled themselves out of that funk? I feel that no matter how strongly I feel about this, I'm having a hard time committing. I used to spend every single day for about two months doing at least something to further myself along. I flip-flop between PDSMS and Advance Map and can't decide what I truly enjoy. I'm struggling. Am I in over my head? Some perspective of others that feel this way or have dealt with this feeling would be nice. I'm beating myself up over it, I don't have a lot of things that I feel so strongly about.
