im jsut wondering what you think that the best moveset for a milotic is. my idea was

    ice beam
    sleep talk
    rest
and i dont know for the last

Well, Ice Beam and Surf are givens... Rest and Sleep Talk work, but I usually don't prefer them. Try out Hypnosis and Recover.

    Milotic @ Leftovers
    Bold Nature
    - Surf
    - Ice Beam
    - Recover
    - Hypnosis

If you need an EV spread, let me know!

i wukld try hypnosis but i can find someone to breed me a feebas with it. and i wuld get an EV spread, but im not 100% on how they work. i know the concept, just not how to do it.

Breed one yourself... all you need is a male Poliwag that knows Hypnosis and a female Feebas.

The EV spread I plan on using for my SleepTalking Milotic is as follows:

    212 HP / 176 DEF / 120 SP. ATTK

Can work for a Recover/Hypnosis Milotic as well.

Actually, for a SleepTalker set, you may want to max out Defense, or at least jam 200 EVs into it, to take full advantage of her trait Marvel Scale. Even with the basic Milotic set, 200 Defense EVs is normally standard. Milotic suffers from the Blissey condition: great Special Defense in general, but give its Defense a little TLC, and she can take any kind of hit with ease.

With that EV spread, you get 384 max HP, great for Leftovers. Here are the stats, with that spread, assuming each one IV for the stat is 31, and Marvel Scale is activated.

    HP - 384
    DEF - 394
    SP DEF - 429

Those 120 SP ATTK EVs are to let you OHKO Garchomp and Salamence. If you don't care to OHKO them, then yes, you can go ahead and put more into DEF.

    Here's what Serebii.net says:

    EVs: 84 HP / 252 Def / 12 Spd / 106 SAtk / 56 SDef

Now, I didn't follow that to the exact... I put 200 in Defense, and less in Special Attack (though it was in the 90's), and put those into HP. Even with less than 100 EVs in Special Attack, my Milotic has OHKOed her fair share of Salamences and Garchomps.

Both of them have a 4x weakness to Ice, and Milotic has a decent enough SpAtk as it is, so that combined with a 4x weakness makes it hard not to OHKOed. Besides, you'd want a ton of Defense so she can be switched into Salamence and Garchomp with ease (especially Dragon Dance Salamence), otherwise she'll crumble.

Either way, in my opinion, Milotic shouldn't be considered an attacker... she's a wall by all counts.

Oh, BTW, how do you count 429 Special Defense when her absolute maximum is 383? Granted perfect IV, max EVs, and beneficial nature? Marvel Scale only affects her Defense, not Special Defense.

    Crap...I didn't read all of your message yet, but only Defense? That makes me sad. ;-;

Hmm, well I myself was heavily contemplating on what to do with my Milotic and was going to probably settle on the following:

    Milotic @ Leftovers
    Bold
    212 HP, 180/200 DEF, 118/88 SP ATTK
    ~Surf
    ~Ice Beam
    ~Hypnosis/Mirror Coat (Hypnosis over MC)
    ~Recover

Actually, Milotic can pull off Mirror Coat pretty darn well, because any Special hit will not likely OHKO her, and she'll fire back with an OHKO (kind of like COunter Blissey, the bane of my existence!). But yeah, I agree that Hypnosis works better.

As for the EVs... it looks good. I'd go with the 200 Defense, take a little out of HP, and put that along with the 88 Special Attack. Don't wanna skimp too much now. ;) I think you'd want at least 96 into Special Attack (that's what I did, I remember now).

yah i like mirror coat over hypnosis. makes Vaporeon and Starmie think twice before coming in.

also, hypnosis doesn't come to much help with Milotic being a full defensive pokemon.

If your looking more defensively, I would go with mirror coat, but offensvely, I would try dragon pulse to counter any specific water types (Lanturn, Starmie) that could hurt Milotic very easily.
