    Serebii now has a B/W pokedex, including all old moves which are learnt. New moves havent been added or sprites, but i thought we could have a thread dedicated to the known movesets.

    EDIT: The level up requirements have also been added. Discuss them also :D

    Such as waiting till level 54 to get wargle.

    Cool Jaroda learns Leech seed know if it can learn Substuite it could be turned to a great Sub-seeder :D

    add giga drain into the mix and jaroda will replace jumpluff as my subseeder :P

    also something like nasty plot wouldnt hurt

    Oh yeah it can learn Giga drain too :P
    Now we only need Nasty plot
    Subsitute+Leechseed + Nasty plot + Giga drain (with it's stronger power in this gen and when PP max used on it for more PP) = Terror :D
     
    It seems that the average level for final evolutions is about 20 levels higher than in previous generations. That could mean I'll have some NFE Pokemon going into the Pokemon League in the high 40s... Odd.

    Also, Tsunbear (one of my favourite designs) has caught Flareon-itis, and has an absolutely shocking movepool despite having decent stats. He has Attack 110 and Sp.Atk 60, yet the only STAB moves he learns are Special. He's basically Ursaring but without the STAB. I'm very disappointed. I really really REALLY hope he has some good breeding moves, because otherwise I'll have to rely on Avalanche being his best move, assuming it's still even a TM! Although it is possible that the as-yet-unrevealed move he learns at level 37 (when he evolves) will be an awesome Physical Ice-type move.

    it really would be. i mean my jumpluff alone was hard to beat in battle and that thing is very weak. damn i forgot jumpluff has sleep powder! jaroda definetely wont get that

    wow, I'm surprised that it doesn't learn Ice punch by level up...

    it has to learn ice fang or ice punch. i dont know its speed stat though but if i have a choice between ice fang and avalanche i tend to pick avalanche

    Yeah his Speed is only 50 so that leans even further towards Avalanche (especially as he can learn Bulk Up) but according to Bulbapedia he can't learn TM72, which was Avalanche in Gen.IV... obviously just because Avalanche was TM72 in Gen.IV doesn't mean it will be in Gen.V as well, but most TMs kept their number from last Gen...

    In short, unless that unrevealed move is a good Physical Ice-type move, it's looking pretty bad for Tsunbear! To cover his weaknesses he'd need something like:

    Brick Break (for Steel/Rock)
    Aerial Ace (for Fighting)
    Dive (for Fire)
    Swords Dance

    EDIT: Plus, Tsunbear doesn't learn any of these moves through level-up, so that's four whole TMs used on him (which actually isn't too big a deal seeing as they're re-usable nowadays).

    But seeing as Dive kinda sucks (even with its power being raised to 80) he'd be better served with a decent STAB move like Ice Punch and hoping that any Fire-types he comes up against will go down to Aerial Ace or Brick Break, in my opinion.

    So, like I said, here's hoping he has some good breeding moves! I'd hate to see another Pokemon I really like go the way of the Flareon...
     
    Another is that the Bug/fire Moth evolves at Level 59.

    no avalance? dayum he really is f-cked.. dive would be logicall but it is a pretty crap move. i can see him getting brick break but i doubt it will get swords dance.

    also i have to say the evolution levels are mind-blowingly high. what on earth is GF doing like

    If it had a middle stage, it'd make more sense, but that's ridiculous. X_X


    i know right? its really beginning to bug me now that i will be stuck with the first stages for pretty much the entire game

    remember these most likely arent true, but looking at the moth's level up moves, i guess its legendary, or pseudo. Its stats are very high.

    also only some are added. others arent. which means is oviously a WIP and not 100% accurate. However i agree, unless theres a significant post game, theres no point in quite a ot of the evolutions.

    i'll look for more.

    EDIT: the dark/dragon reaches its final evo at 64, and the ghost/fre chandelier evoles first at level 41, then requires a dusk stone.
    something tells me that all these odd numbers arent that reliable, although serebii is.

    Just noticed that TM75 isn't confirmed as Swords Dance yet, I for some reason thought it was. Argh. Poor Tsunbear, it just gets worse for him...

    In a way I kinda like the high evolution levels though. If anything it encourages training Pokemon to higher levels than before - it was a bit weird to be able to complete the game when your Pokemon hadn't even hit the halfway stage in terms of overall experience gained. What was the point in having levels 60-100 before, when barely any Pokemon learned any new moves in that time, and there were no equally strong opponents to beat?

    (Of course I'm not counting the rematches in HG and SS, but even if I did, each trainer is only once a week so they're not much use for high-level training and they also still don't cover levels 80-100)

    i dont think its a legendary i mean it elolves. and its not a psuedo it only has a 2 pokemon evolution chain. but i agree with the evolutions being pointless thing..
     
    It may well be not a legendary, but its BST is definately above 550 and it learns moves at levels 10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100.

    i cant believe im saying this but tsunbear actually has a worse movepool than flareon. and flareons is so bad i have to resort to using it as a sub-par special sweeper. i disagreee on the evo point though i think that will discourage me from training i will just get sick of trying to train my first stage pokemon and give up on them

    im fairly sure its not the only pokemon this generation to go above 550. also dont forget arcanine.. moveset is suspicious but we will really have to wait and see

    Urugamosu's BST is 550 exactly... I'm pretty sure it's not a pseudo, seeing as all pseudos to this point have had BSTs of 600 and have primarily been Physical Attackers. Sazando (Dark/Dragon type) has the 600 BST but is more of a Special attacker, which I guess shows that the trend is being bucked.

    If Urugamosu (Bug/Fire moth) is a pseudo, then that means Ononokosu is too, as his BST is 550 as well... In fact I think there are a few more with 550. I can't think of them just at the moment though.

    its not a psuedo its BST has to be exactly 600 for that and it has to evolve twice which it doesnt. and several pokemon go over 550 this gen as far as i know and they cant all be psuedos
