    In Ruby & Sapphire, we were introduced to a new fun concept: Secret bases! Secret bases provided us a personalized retreat were we could relax, meet friends, and not be nagged by our parents. *wink wink* So tell us...

    Where was/is your favorite secret base and how did/do you decorate it?


    Speaking for myself, my favorite bases were the Alpha and Beta tree layouts on Routes 115 and 114, respectively. I like the locations for their seclusion. I'd usually like to set up two different rooms on the Alpha layout; one to serve as a 'bedroom' and the other as an 'entertainment area'. The Beta layout would have more or less the same layout as the Alpha. The decorations would constantly change depending on my mood.
     
    I really liked the idea of the secret bases in R/S/E, as it added a extra little adventure and quest to the game. I would have liked it, if you could have left a Pokemon or two in there, much like a pet. I know that might seem a bit weird, but it could have been a cool idea; just leaving a massive Pokemon to look after your secret base! XD​
