Those banners are really nice. The matching of background to render is really good. I think they look great! :)

Hey! Nice work you've got there with your graphics! Hope you keep practicing at it!
I can see you've got some nice techniques starting there. Personal favourite is your batman one!

    A bit of advice:
    - Your work is really flat right now and a bit of depth can also be added too. There's a bit of flow, but it's still quite lacking. Right now I can see you using your smudge brushes to smudge a copy of your render and can see you starting to use some c4ds which is a good start. However, right now it still feels like you've just pasted the render onto the signature - in other words, the render and the background feel like two separate beings instead of fitting within one another.

    - I can see you're looking at tutorials, but definitely try looking at a variety of tutorials since a lot of your signatures are somewhat of a similar style - Don't be afraid to try out new techniques! You'll find a lot that'll give you more understanding on how to work with depth and flow and help you create an even awesome set of signatures altogether.

    - Definitely pay attention to your text. Don't just leave it as a thing you can slap on in the end with a simple Gaussian blur behind the text or outline. Definitely look into font placement and how you can use to add to the piece's flow as well.

Keep it up! There's a lot you can do, but practice is the important one!

Thanks alot for your opinion ! I will definitly keep practicing but I would like a teacher to teach also. xP

    Yes I think it's a great idea.

    People could use the help

A couple of years ago we used to have something called The Graphics School where people could sign up and be tutored (I guess) by more experienced designers.
A teacher would be assigned to a specific group of students based on level of experience and ability. Every week or so you'd be given assignments, you'd complete them, post them and your teacher will give you a c+c on what you did good, what wasn't so good, and what you could do to improve.

Unfortunately, I don't think the school has happened in years. There's really a lack in the amount of people doing graphics currently in this section and most of the people who a good grasp and high level of skill either rarely post here or have left completely.

Sometimes the best thing to do is for yourself to look at a variety of tutorials, make pieces, and ask for some constructive feedback. I might ask at getting the graphics rating thread back in action. Being taught is great, but trying things out yourself and getting feedback from different people can really help you a lot.

Thank you ! Will do so. c:

And that Thread was a good idea, why did it stop having Activity?
