2nd Gen Mucked up Magikarp

One time on Yellow, (without cheats), I got an infinate HP magikarp and when I put it on Stadium, it came up as a Hitmonlee. From then on, it was a lv 5, splash-only-knowing hitmonlee. I don't get it! :cross-eye

hmm. I think this in unlikely, but intresting!
I think it'd be a mistake to put that kinda' glitch in the game, if they did it on purpose. And they couldn't have done it on mistake, if I remember correctly, to get infinate HP, you have to put in several specific lines of code.
Did you catch any other Magikarp after that? And was this a rom, or cartridge.
