4th Gen mushrooms? what do i do with them?

i have a bunch of big and tiny mushrooms and what do i do with them? is there a mushroom maniac anywhere in soul silver?

I think they're similar to the nugget and just valuable items that sell for a bit.

ok because i remember in fire red you could give them to the mushroom maniac and he would teach your pokemon moves

Now it just serves the same purpose as the Nugget, as we have the Heart Scales for those who wish to teach us moves.
