well, i've started to assemble a 3 on 3 team for wi-fi, here's what i have right now

    Ninjask
    Jolly Nature
    Trait: Speedboost(or whatever it's called)
    EVS: 252 Speed/ 128 Def/ 128 Sp. Def
    Moves:
    Protect
    Substitute
    Swords Dance
    Batton Pass

    Electrive @ Magnet
    Adament Nature
    Trait: Motor Drive
    EVS: 252 Attack/ 252 Speed/ 6 HP
    Moves:
    Thunder Punch
    Cross Chop
    ?????
    ?????

    Alakazam @ Choice Specs
    Timid Nature
    Trait: Synchronize
    EVS: 252 Speed/ 252 Sp. Atk/ 6 HP
    Moves:
    Psychic
    Focus Blast
    Shadow Ball
    Recover

so yeah, i need some help with electrive, but other then that, what do you think of it?

Adamant works here. A pinch berry is a great item, or focus sash. If you use focus sash, you'd need to get rid of substitute.

    Electrive @ Magnet
    Adament Nature
    Trait: Motor Drive
    EVS: 252 Attack/ 252 Speed/ 6 HP
    Moves:
    Thunder Punch
    Cross Chop
    ?????

Magnet? Nononononononononononononononononno. No magnet. It is the most useless item you can possibly give Vire. Ice punch and EQ in the last two slots, and expert belt as the item.

    Alakazam @ Choice Specs
    Timid Nature
    Trait: Synchronize
    EVS: 252 Speed/ 252 Sp. Atk/ 6 HP
    Moves:
    Psychic
    Focus Blast
    Shadow Ball
    Recover

Recover? Nonononononononononononononononono. Alakazam is far too fragile for recover, and gets even worse with choice specs. Energy ball over recover. Otherwise it is fine.

so yeah, i need some help with electrive, but other then that, what do you think of it?

Despite my "nonononononononnnonononono"s, this team isn't so bad. I advise taking out ninjask...get a BPer that helps both pokemon. Zam doesn't really need anymore speed than it has...get something that can take hits, like cradily or milotic. And yes, speed boost is ninjask's ability.

i like alakazams stats but shouldnt you teach electivire learn thunderbolt or thunder and earthquake and teach alakazam protect instead of focus blast because alakazam isnt that stong on the attack stat and when electivire hits earthquake with the attack hes got that will do good damage

    What the hell...

Don't listen to this guy, listen to APCW. Vire is a physical sweeper, so why would you use Tbolt or Thunder? :cross-eye T-Punch, Ice Punch, Cross Chop, and EQ should be the moveset. Pretty standard, I use it on my Vire and it rapes.

As APCW said, you'll wanna go with a physical and special sweeper, like your Vire and Zam. But I'd put in a mixed wall as the 3rd slot. Something like Dusknoir or Umbreon.

Go with Dusknoir, it can take hits, and then deal them back with a base attack stat of 100

haffysucks i was just trying to help him do you have a problem with that

You are misleading the thread starter. We aren't trying to be jerks, but your advice was horrible.

However haffey, thunderbolt is often used for skarmbliss killing...but since this is 3 v 3, I doubt you'll see any of that.

EDIT: Yes, dusknoir makes an excellent tank, but its poor HP gets in the way. But 100 base attack is nothing to laugh at.

okay think you for not trying to be rude but how about swithcing ninjask with milotic or anyone who knows rain dance and have electivire learn thunder it raises the accuracy and with milotic if its raining it powers up water type moves and heals some hp and if you use aqua ring it makes hp and give it leftovers and then teach it a strong water type move then that would be a good combo

That post is a mess. Periods were created for a reason. And thunderdance fails. ALWAYS. Only kyuber can pull it off. Thunderbolt>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Thunder, in almost every circumstance. Rain dance on milotic is a waste anyways. Only swift swimmers and ludi should carry rain dance, and probably a few others I'm forgetting.

Ok, well i chose Ninjask there because i don't really need a BPer on Alakazam, well i'll look for some other BPers then

    well how's this then

    Ninjask @ Pinch Berry
    Jolly Nature
    Trait: Speed boost
    EVS: 252 Speed/ 128 Def/ 128 Sp. Def
    Moves:
    Protect
    Substitute
    Swords Dance
    Batton Pass

    Electrive @ Expert Belt
    Adament Nature
    Trait: Motor Drive
    EVS: 252 Attack/ 252 Speed/ 6 HP
    Moves:
    Thunder Punch
    Cross Chop
    EQ
    Ice Punch

    Alakazam @ ???
    Timid Nature
    Trait: Synchronize
    EVS: 252 Speed/ 252 Sp. Atk/ 6 HP
    Moves:
    Psychic
    Focus Blast
    Shadow Ball
    Energy Ball

Ok, so i've made a couple of changes, but i'll see if i can find another BPer, but i like ninjask because of it's trait, about 4 turns of protect and sub, with a swords dance in there, makes Electrive even stronger

You REALLY don't need ninjask. I recommend maybe gyarados. People will want to zap it down, then just switch into Vire to activate motor drive, and now it has speed. Gyara is a powerhouse itself. It has swept many teams for me, just watch out for zapdos. that's what Vire is for though.

    Gyarados?
That might be a good idea, with a 4x weakness to electric, people with want to zap to, so if i predict right, then i switch in Electrive, gets speed, sounds good, do you recommend a moveset?

    Gyarados @ Lefties
    Intimidate
    EVs: 214 HP / 16 Atk / 180 Def / 100 Spd
    Adamant Nature
    - Earthquake
    - Dragon Dance
    - Taunt
    - Waterfall / Ice Fang / Stone Edge

It is so evil! I've swept many teams with it...it's that good.

Ok, i'll go with that guy, well thanks for the help

Ice Fang for coverage, waterfall for power, and stone edge gives you both, but I prefer ice fang, so the dragons don't laugh at you. And no problem. I'm stressed, nice to be appreciated somewhere lol
