My Attempt At Recoloring Sprites

I wanted to try to recolor a sprite, so I recolored this Marill.

Does anyone have any tips?

Try using softer shades and not such vivid colors. Make it look smooth.

Not too bad, but like amphros said, just try and make the color change more gradual and smooth, you may wanna try that on the ditto too ;)

Just like they said before, dont use too vivid colors. Hint-Hint: Double click at a color on Paint to adjust it the way ya want ^^

Also, if you find that finding the right color in paint is too hard. Try taking another sprite or picture and use those colors as your base.
