I got excited after seeing everybody's teams
so i'm gonna show you my team in silver
i'll accept your advices, but remember, i made
this team since i was a kid so don't expect
too much from the moves, anyway, let's get started:

    Feraligatr LV.89
    -Surf
    -Waterfall
    -Blizzard
    -Whirlpool
As you can see, most of the moves are HMs but they're
usefull when you use them with a strong pokemon.

    Nidoking LV.99
-Strength (an HM, and usefull against flying pokemon)
-Earthquake (necessery for all rock pokemon)
    -Blizzard (strong against dragons)
    -Horndrill (it's just cool :) )

    Vulpix LV.87
    -Flame thrower
    -Sunny day
    -Quick attack
    -Dig

    Crobat LV.92
    -Gust
    -Fly
    -Confuse ray
    -Bite

    Pidgeott LV.92
    -Wing attack
    -Double team
    -Drill peck
    -Aeroblast

    Scyther LV.81
    -Cut
    -Steel wing
    -Double team
    -Slash

you may've noticed, most of the moves are
damage dealing and HMs, except for sunny day and double team
is it okay, or should i have had other moves?

I never tested this team against a strong trainer
since i stopped playing the game with only 3 badges from the
clubs of Johto, so i don't know how strong it is
because most of my battles are finished with 1 or 2 attacks
    due to my overleveled pokemons.

    So, what do you think?

I couldn't edit my thread so i'm just gonna correct
    my mistake here:
(I stopped playing the game after getting 3 badges of the Kanto
    clubs, after the E4)
that might've confused everybody, since it's insane to
train your pokemon untill it reaches LV99 in the first part of the game!

On Feraligatr, I'd reccomend changing Surf to a Physical move, otherwise great.
Nidoking, pretty good, no changes needed.
Vulpix, evolve into ninetales thats a big difference in strength.
Crobat, change gust to a stronger flying move (wing attack maybe)
Pidgeot, change double team to twister to take care of weaker dragon types (blizzard is good, but not good enough for a whole team like lance rematch)
Scyther, change double team and slash. These moves are the weaknesses that I would beat you on my crystal file because of. These changes will make your team equal to mine.

Whirlpool generally isn't useful, and having three water type attacks isn't handy. Also, on another note, at the above poster, G/S/C = no physical/special split, so you'd be replacing waterfall rather than surf because although it specialises in attack, surf is the strongest. :x Either way, Feraligatr can work with special attacks anyway, so you could throw Earthquake in for coverage and something like Ancientpower to further attack flying foes if you want (both being physical iirc).

Strength, sadly, isn't a rock type attack, so isn't really useful against flying types. Going with something like Thunderbolt, on the other hand, would.

As for Crobat, you could try switching Bite for Pursuit, it may be weaker but if the opponent were to switch out, you'd have the upper hand. Depends on you though! You also don't need both Fly and Gust, so you could try Toxic in the place of Fly to slowly wittle down your opponent's HP or something like that.

Sadly, I can't really extensively comment on G/S/C teams since they were so long ago and movepools are much better now, sorry! owever from my knowledge of G/S/C, your team isn't really too much varied from what was commonly done back then; using HMs. And really, as long as you don't overuse HMs now, all is good - it's a nice try for a childhood team anyway :)

    Thanks for your help...
i could evolve Vulpix to ninetails anytime i wanted to
but i like Vulpix the way he is :)
...as for Feraligatr, i didn't know how to delete the HMs
    so i couldn't change his moves "^^
No wonder my Scyther was too weak since i was depending on
Nidoking all the time and didn't bother changing his moves
especially because he was the last one i added to the team
and i increased his level by switching with nidoking while
    fighting the E4.
To be honest, i always had troubles with the moves, cause
i always use HMs in my team to be able to travel without
    any troubles.
Any way, thanks for your help, but i already quit the game "^^
and i'm thinking of playing ss right now.
