its only beacuse the border around the edge of the first and last images arent even....

They are 1px they match each other and that is good enough.

no need to get defensive. that's why comments exist: so that you can learn and do better next time. Kira's right. you should have made the height of the image altogether match the height of each box so that when you add 1px borders for each it doesn't add to each other and make it a 2px border in some spots.

The top is 2px so is the bottom and in bewteen it is just the very edges on the sides are 1px

So they all match. So drop it.

you don't like people commenting on your work? then i suggest you don't post it. I know why it looks like that, no one does it on purpose. besides, if the edges were 2px before you put the pictures on there, there wouldn't be gray at the corners. don't act like i don't know what i'm talking about, i do. and if you're gonna get that upset over borders you probably shouldn't post anything else because you know what people are going to say.

I posted it to show it off not to be told that you do not like the outline of it. I followed a tutorial to the letter and it looks fine the way it is.
