Your strategy would offer infinate help here. First off, DP Machamp ain't that good. Dynamic Punch was ok before they changed the Confusion rules. SV Arcanine absolutely blows...Combustion for a 3 energy and a whopping 40 dmg if my memory serves me. And the SV Magmortar is the same way. Still, you plop it down, and it's burn/confusion for your opponents active, which is all well and good, but it then becomes a waste of space. If you're gonna rock Magmortar(Take it from me, I should know) go SW all the way. Granted, if this collection of cards is all you have, then definately go with it until you find suitable replacements, but for if and when you have them, i'll offer direct replacements here.

1. Swap SV Mortar for SW Mortar
2. Swap Sv "Nine for RR 'Nine(Flames of Rage and Flare Condition)
3. Swap DP Machamp for SF Machamp(this card is very often overpriced, but for good reason. Don't break the bank, but if you can pull it, or find it cheap, this is the Machamp to rock.

I'd change the amount of energy to:
9 Fire Energy
6 Fighting Energy

Maybe you can remove Onix and add another Donphan line for consistancy, same goes for Mortar and Champ
