Hello everyone, my name is Segi and I have ideas for a Pokemon game. I am not experienced with ROM hacking and game developing, so I want to meet people who are experienced and interested.
- The region is based on Shanghai and its surrounding area in China
- I thought about the graphics to be Gen 4 or Gen 5 style
- I thought about many cultural references, but I probably need some experts in Chinese mythology and history
- new Pokémon, but also older Pokémon, like some who fit the setting, such as Drampa, Tepig etc. or based on mythology and zodiac animals
(not sure to include Pokémon from Gen 6 and above)
- There can be recurring Pokémon and characters from other games
- There should be both modern and traditional elements (similar to Johto)
- There should be characters who resemble people from Chinese/East Asian history (similar to AZ from X and Y who resembles Louis XIV)
