My New Team (it isn't bad at all)

Here is my new team. It's for Wi-Fi. IMO this is great team. It don't have bad weaknesses. This team have only 10 weakness. (eight 2x and two 4x)

Medicham @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Pure Power
EVs 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Hi Jump Kick
- Psycho Cut
- Thunderpunch
- Icepunch

With Pure Power Medicham attack can be 480. 8th best attack stat in whole game. Scarf is nasty surprise. With Scarf Medicham can outspeed Weavile and OHKO him. Gyarados get 2HKO with Thunderpunch.


Blissey @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Softboiled
- Thunderbolt
- Calm Mind
- Ice Beam

CMBlissey is nice wall. 1-2 Calm Mind and nobody can't break her mighty Special Defense. Not even CSMence! BoltBeam gives nice cover. I need look out Psychical sweepers.


Weezing @ Black Sludge
Trait: Levitate
EVs 252 HP / 252 Def
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Pain Split
- Fire Blast
- Haze
- Thunderbolt

I needed something to handle Heracross. Not Gliscor, because I have Salamence. Weezing is great for killing Heracross. Fire Blast make nice damage. Pain Split is must and Haze ruin SD and DD users. Thunderbolt take care off Gyarados.


Swampert @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 240 Hp / 56 Atk / 212 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Avalanche
- Waterfall / Stone Edge / Roar
- Stealth Rock

Swampert is great tank and I needed Stealth Rock user. So I pick him. Earthquake and Avalanche form the Ground/Ice attacking combination which is only resisted by Bronzong.


Salamence @ Choice Specs
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- Hydro Pump
- Dragon Pulse

The mighty one, CSMence is nice addition in every team. This Guy does MASSIVE damage to everything not named Blissey.


Metagross @ Life Orb / Leftovers
Trait: Clear Body
EVs 156 HP / 252 Atk / 104 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Agility
- Explosion

With these HP EVs will allow guaranteed survival against an Adamant Garchomp or Mamoswine's Earthquake if they are not using any items to strengthen the attack. Agility set is great, because with one Agility I can outrun 269 Speed Choice Scarf users like Heracross.


This team don't have any special strategy. I tried make team that isn't only 6 standard. This team don't have any big threats like Gyarados or SpecsMence.

Now, please comment. Making great team is hard so tell me your option. Comments help me a lot.

I'll comment on these two...

Swampert:

Not a bad setup, but I still prefer CursePurt. With Curse, you can go with Relaxed Nature, not worry about Speed (tanks don't normally need speed anyways), and boost Defense and Attack. After all, who can say no to a STABed Surf AND a STABed Earthquake?? Also, with Curse and Relaxed, it's almost guaranteed that Swampert will go second, so that will make good use of Avalanche. Rest could be an option, since your team SERIOUSLY lacks recovery moves, and I used to think recovery moves were useless until I started playing on WiFi. A Recovery move on a tank is nearly a must.

And Metagross:

I use a Metagross myself... your setup is pretty standard, but I'd like to bring Thunderpunch into play here. I use it on my Gross instead of Explosion, and with Thunderpunch he can easily take out any bulky water type not named Swampert. And while he can survive a Garchomp or Mamoswine, it's not wise to leave him in on Garchomp (it's at most a 2KO with a STABed Earthquake). Maybe Mamoswine, since it's a KO with Meteor Mash. So unless you're catching ither on the switch in, don't put him out. Wait until you KNOW you will have the first hit.

Unfortunatly, i have to bring this up.... Salamence should NOT be used as a special sweeper, its suppose to be based on physical attacks, you should change salamence, or give salamence physical attacks

SpecsMence is big threat for every team. My team have already two Psychical Sweepers so I use Special Sweeper Salamence.

Medicham and Weezing aren't so common. I agree that Salamence, Blissey, Swampert and Metagross are very standard, but I want to use good Pokemons. Not special one.
