Waited long enough,
Soulless I sit here watching my blood run,
Tried as hard as I should,
Held out as long as I could,
But now I?m done,

Only thing I feel is sickness,
Just wish you didn?t have to see this,
All I ever heard was hold on,
Those words just sickened me more,
I know you?ll mourn,
But believe you me it?s not for the worst,

(Just hold on)
It?s all I ever heard
(You?ll make it through)
I?m so sickened by those words
(Have faith)
How can I when all I see is blank?

I fall on my knees,
I beg this to be over soon,
Slow death is all I wished,
For hours I wished for death,
Now I wait for my last breath,

How can I see when I?ve gone blind?
Are all the doors locked?
Screaming in pain and agony I yell as I cry,

I stare at the crimson ghost before me,
Guess I was never meant to be,
Looking at the sky high above,
I remember what it was like to feel love,
Now it?s an empty feeling with no meaning,
?Save me from the void I?ve fallen in!!?

Away I?ll be but never will I forget those that had a place in my heart,
I?ll watch over you since I beg this fate never to fall upon you,
Forget this action of selfishness I?ve done and remember who I was,
Don?t know where I?ll end or if I?ll ever find rest,
There was no strength left in me,
But I hope a lesson for you this will be,
?Save me from the void I?ve fallen in!!?

Well, your point here is clear. The poem is obviously about suicide. No spelling or grammar mistakes, which is good, and which Kelsey would be proud about.
All in all, I think it is good... But it makes me wonder, is it a song or a poem? In the title you only have "Songs and Poems", but you never specified what it was.... ^^;; Keep up the good job though! ~origin

I think Shadow of Ash plans to put both songs and poems into one thread, and that first post was meant to be a poem (correct me if I'm wrong ^^).

*claps hands in applause* That was a very deep poem, in terms of the topic of suicide and how one feels when they are attempting it, and words that are meant to be supportive mean absolulty nothing, because others don't exactly know how you feel.

I'm not really the one to talk about grammar and puncuation ^^', but after each stanza that you did, you added a comma insted of a period, and even capitalized the next stanza, maybe putting a period insted.

You're really good at writing poem from what I seen, and this time its no exception, great job ^^.

I cast the circle and wait for my guide,
Invoking the guardians,
I sit still as I watch the moon work the night sky
Letting the waning beauty cleanse every lie

Forsaking all harm from my race

Watch my every step
Release me of this spell, which has me bound

Holy Lady bring me to your side
I seek your wisdom and peace of mind
Improve my windy element
Guide your faithful through the harsh winters

~*Lost Hopes*~

Don?t know what to do
It?s something we all go through
There are few who can see this
I am one of them for I too have been victimized about it
Simple was our time and people
We used to admire the wonders given by the spirits

Now we barely remember life itself is a gift
Conflicts the people we depend on bring us
Those we think holy and wise are anything but
Before The One you preach but behind you?re a leech
Those of us with the will look to the small traces of spirituality that are left
Only to have them turn around and have them laugh at our faces

You see a lost lamb, a lost soul
And you mock at our pain
Not knowing it could trigger our end
You worship perfection and superficial tactics
You never bother to look inside and see the pain
Hiding in the dark our hate builds at the world dominated by prejudice

Fanatics only look to convert failing to understand we no longer find interest in their hypocrisies
Leaders seeking to conquer and have the last word in a fight
Never realizing how their game of conquest steals our light
It?s a world gone mad
No longer with the pureness it once had
What shall we do?
Sit there and wait it out
Or take a stand and reclaim our fate

Bloody Dream

Come night?s shadow
A different world comes together
She hurries home for the ghosts shall come to claim her
She cries at the light?s setting
For she knows what most are forgetting
Behind a good rest and peaceful slumber
Few of them like her suffer
A world of nightmares dancing in the air
Creatures haunting every corner
All her cries cannot satisfy their malice
Not even a spell or a silver chalice
A world so twisted not even angels comfort
?They?re gonna get you.? Is all they offer
Pray as she might
She?ll never free herself of this spite
A black cat?s wicked curse
She knows it?s all hers
She can cry if she wants all they?ll do is taunt
Her dreams are of blood and gore
While she runs from it out the door
I take it and make it mine​

Awwwwwwwwwwws, all of your poems are so thoughtful and so very maeningful, Shadow. <3<3 I've read all the ones you've created so far and I have to say, every last one of them is magnificant. ^^

You use real-life topics such as death and suicide and place them into your own words, giving off a sensible and meaningful vibe. ^__^

There weren't any spelling errors or anything like that, so great work on all of them. Now, this is really what I like to see in a poet. Someone who's willing to go the distance and really let their voice be heard. ^^ Awsome job Shadow. ;D

Why does it seem that everywhere I go nothing feels right?
Where is that smile that once shun on my face?
Where did all the faith I had run off to?
Why do they look at me as if I was part Lucifer?s clan?

Moments of happiness seem to shorten with each day
I haven?t managed to make sanity stay
Long do I wait for this pain to end
It?s most likely that it shall never be more than a dream

Cast from your side or so they say
Heresy is all they see
Burning all who refuse their leads

The slaughter of thousands for their teachings was said to have ended
Never have they actually managed to really mend
New generations suffer not greatly as our past did

But from old wounds blood can still fall
You say you are compassionate and understanding
Yet you refuse to let us dwell in your same dominion

You preach of greatness and of wonders
As do we for we are all connected to the same wonders
To you we seem like ungodly creatures when in truth we have our own inspiration

Is what you preach and teach salvation?
Or are you simply searching for revenge for all the pain you were once put through in obligation?
Whatever your intentions may be keep in mind we are suffering what you once suffered​
