these are all edits, so it's a change of pace and i want to let you know that i appreciate that! they're much better than the low end recolors that course through here... BUT

    - NEVER EVER SAVE AS A JPEG!!!!!!!!!!! GRRR it ruins their quality!
    - the shading is off, but then again i cant tell because of the little jpeg pixels...
    - most of your edited in parts look odd like an

    .
the tail on rydon is flat an it just looks bad, the same with slowpoke and slobrow's tails...
the mouths seem a bit funky, they are strange looking and mono pixeled... theyre just up down up down up down...
    - that just seems to be the case with the rest, everything just looks awkward...mewtwo's arm, pinsir's head, scyther's wings...
    - the shading is all screwy, and so is the outlining. the bright spots are usually supposed to be in the upper left.

Don't get discouraged though, these aren't as bad as some of the stuff i've seen, with work they can look great. Look through some tutorials, and practice your coloration shading and outlining. once you get those down, then do edits... until then...

    Thanks for the advice.

Plue the picture's are bmp not jpeg.

um...that is impossible...i think... as far as i know, you cant upload bmp's onto this site's forums... if you photobucket or some other image server, it converts bmps to jpegs... resulting in pesky pixels ruining your works...

Bitmaps and Jpegs are all the same awful quality, particularly with white backgrounds. Always save as PNG, or GIF in some cases, when dealing with pixel art. Bitmaps are preferred in some cases but PNG is generally what is used.

I'm using PNG's now. The reason i used to use BMP's was because unlz kept saying they weren't indexed or brought them up in the wrong colours.
