My son is trying to make a game that follows Pokemon Indigo anime

    He using Pokemon Essentials 20 and it is pretty hard- for instance I have no idea how to create the demonstration battles even what to search for (like quicktime events)- what to look for? Planning not to do anything other than create a few sprites outside of Pokemon Essentials and to have a real game where the player can explore somewhat outside the anime events rather than a set of quick time events with a little joining them together
     
    Pokemon essentials 20.1 is quite easy to use. Theirs a Wiki for essentials, he can learn a lot after reading it. For player events, Rpg maker xp forums are there for him.

    Here's a Guide he should absolutely read before using essentials.
