So, I'm one of those hardcore Pokémon fans, the ones that have been playing since Red and Blue came out. xD And I adore LeafGreen and FireRed because it just brings back all of those memories, you know? :D So I picked up my LG the other day, and I decided I would start playing it again. I'm pretty far into the game... I have 7 badges and all of my Pokémon are in the 40s, but I'm wondering about their moves and stats. Like, some advice on what to change them to? I think it's pretty solid, but I've always been curious to see if there's a better way to go about things. :D

So here are my Pokémon and their moves and stats. :) (Oh, and their nicknames in parentheses. xD) The moves in italics are the ones that I wouldn't really mind getting rid of and/or the ones I plan on getting rid of eventually.

Ok, your Alakazam is pretty good. Recover and Shadow Ball are must-haves for him.

This is a personal opinion, but I like to cover as many type disadvantages as I can, and try to avoid having 2 moves of the same type when possible. I would have gotten rid of Golem's Selfdestruct and changed it to something like Brick Break.

After defeating the Elite Four, I would give Charizard a total makeover on its moveset. Flamethrower and Slash I would keep, but i would change Blast Burn and Cut to Brick Break and Dragon Claw.

Jolteon has a good moveset based on types, but you need to increase the power of your electric-type move. I would change it to Thunderbolt or Thunder. If using Thunder, try to back it up by teaching Blastoise Rain Dance.

I don't think your Blastoise should have water gun. It does have high pp, but it doesn't do that much except as a finsih-off move to weak pokemon. I would replace it with earthquake or Rain dance.

Pidgeot has a great moveset along with Alakazam. No comment on it.

Awesome... yeah. I was thinking that Charizard was a little off, but before it was Blast Burn it was Ember, so I figured I'd just give it something. And I also limit myself to a certain number of moves of the same type, but I normally limit it to 2, although it rarely gets there.

Alright, I went ahead and changed Blastoise's Water Gun to Earthquake and Charizard's Blast Burn to Brick Break. :) I'm actually going to let Jolteon learn Thunder by itself in two levels (I actually got them all up to lv. 50 a couple hours ago. :D), and I think I'll replace Alakazam's Secret Power with a fighting type move... perhaps Focus Punch?

    Also, any thoughts on Golem?
