My very first sprite =)

this is my very first sprite and it took me about 30 minutes. i would greatly appreciate compliments, improvements are always welcome also =)

EDIT: here is my second re-colour, its a shadow charizard!!!

ANOTHER EDIT: here is my attempt at a shadow articuno and a shadow zapdos

here's my zapdos coloured articuno and zangoose coloured electabuzz, electabuzz coloured zangoose, charizard/grovyle =)

just finished a gardevoir coloured dragonair and a geodude/nidoking:

It looks almost the same as the normal Red/Blue Charzard.

Very basic, colours don't match, i have no idea why the flame is blue O_o, theres also something we spriters like to call shading. 1/10 keep trying

and i need help with mspaint.., howcome when i try to import a sprite using the "paste from.." method, the first prite thats all ready there is normal but when i import the 2nd one it's colours are all screwed up? please!! i just started and its really fun =) i would greatly appreciate it if someone resolved my problem..

I just open two paints, then copy the sprite from one and click paste in the other.

What are the types of images that you are using and by that I mean .bmp,.gif,.png...?

im using .bmp files =)...

Then there shouldn't be any problems...Ok try this,before you copy a sprite from a pic save it as a 24-bit bmp and do the same for the other one,then everything should be ok.

There's a lot more to spriting than merely recoloring old sprites. That's a no-brainer effort. Why don't you try doing some original sprites?

Waaaaay to basic. They're just recolors. Try fusing 3-4 sprites at a time.
