6th Gen Mystery Solving

Ok, so here's the rundown. As many of you have probably noticed, there are several mysteries in pokemon X and Y. This thread will be dedicated to solving the known mysteries and posting new mysteries.

The first mystery I want to discuss is the manager. Incase you don't know, there is an employ in a building that says the editor in cheif has been gone for a while. If you check the desk, there is a memo that says that she is in the mountains looking for a legendary pokemon. Now, currently this has not been solved. However, I would like to change this. One thing that I have noticed has to do with the pokemon village. On the same road as the Daycare, you get blocked by snorlax. If you fail the fight, you get a message that says snorlax has ran back into the mountains. When this happens, you can go to the pokemon village and find Snorlax. This tells us that the pokemon village is actually a mountain.

Nah, the editor in chief has been mysteriously missing, last correspondence was in a letter on the editors desk

I doubt it because otherwise that ranger wouldn't have said she has never seen the editor before.
In my opinion, the Pokemon that she is talking about in her memos is Volcanion. This is because she says that she will look in the mountains. Volcanion's name is linked with mountains, so I think that this is the biggest possibility. Heatran may also be as well.

I personally thought he/she went looking for Zygarde, since Zygarde can be found in Terminus Cave (which is also happened to be located in the mountains).

The other possibility I could think of is Volcanion, just like what Sceptile14 said.

Possibly... Maybe the shadow of the Anistar thing(forgot its name) points to the cave that Diance is in?

While in no way am I saying it isn't a possibility I would hope not. With all of alpt peoples best judgement pointing to zygarde as the next mascot, I would hope his special location doesn't house another legendary also, unless it is tied in with zygarde some how... but none of that is me trying to prove a point its all personal preference

Maybe it holds a mega stone for Zygarde? After all, in its pokedex entry it mentions something about a secret power that it unleashes when something bad happens to the ecosystem so I wouldn't be suprised if this was the case.

I don't think terminus cave is the same mountains. I think the whole situation is too curious to deal with something we already have obvious mystery in, it feels like separate novelty, but its such a small hint, to me its in the are basket as the lymiose ghost girl. The only difference is that the editor has a location for us to speculate on. I think it will definitely have to do with an event legendary. It may even have to deal with latias / lqtios me gas. We not even get it in event either and may not see the editor chief til z.
That's why I love these things. Their is so much room for free speculation an ideas, because there really is no fact yet

The Strange Souvenir you obtain from the hiker. What does it do and what is it's significance?
Also the chamber of emptiness... I believe that is where you could find Hoopa.

The chamber of emptiness has a purpose though, it houses a mega stone.

This is a strange theory that I am about to propose, but what if Volcanion is the power plant's source of power? Maybe Volcanion is man made for this purpose? Personally, when I look at Volcanion, I see something that isn't natural. It has a wierd shape and that pipe that comes out of it looks like something that is used to cycle water through its body. I'm thinking that maybe, we will be able to go into the power plant, and find Volcanion at the centre of the factory or something like that.

I don't think that they would give it that weird of a name and a description of the place if it only held a mega stone. I actually agree with what Lajules said about Hoopa being there. Its signature move is Hyperspace hole or something like that, so it might have something to do with teleporting and dimensions. Maybe you go inside and a portal opens up and it comes out?

Well the volcanion theory isn't farfetched, there are a lot of ppl assuming that volcanion is tied in with the power plant. I can see it.
However I think hoopa has mischievous but playful thing going. I think that it will be more than likely tied into lumiose some how. My theory has been that diancie will be in the mountains, not on the map yet beyond couriway railroad since I started theorizing about the editor.
Considering we didn't get keldeo, genesect, & meloetta til bw2. One of them probably came earlier but I can't remember.
I'm hoping we will get em in xy but who knows.

Lumiose- crossing fingers that it will be tied in with ghost girl- hoopa
Couriway railway- diancie

This is all wants and not evidence based theory, gotta say that before the detectives come after me

What if the editor wasn't even in Kalos at all, but in HOENN! You heard right! Another Hoenn theory:
The director must have been in a different country all together for her to have not been present for years. Considering you can fly town-to-town in an instant, i believe the director is searching for the famed Kyogre/Groudon, which can be found in caves... in Hoenn. Who knows, maybe she is even a relative of Steven Stone.

hmmm.... Power Plant powered by Volcanion....

that would be backed by "people couldn't maintain the current standard of living without Pokémon".....
then it raises the question, what happens when you catch it and take it?

I still think it looks like a Mega Eeveelution.
