    Its obvious, when you have to find the lost girl in FR/LG you will notice her name is Lostelle, split it up into its syllables and its lost--- elle, elle in french is girl and lost is just..., lost!

    There are ones for pokemon as well like Blastoise, Blast- the super hydro cannons on his back, toise- the end of tortoise!

    Here are two great ones, HitmonCHAN - Jackie CHAN
    HitmonLEE - Bruce LEE

    And hitmontop cuz it spins on its head!

    well...yes ..Brawly in his name Brawl i think that mean to fight and his pokemon are fighting type..
     
    All Pokemon names are based on this. Only a select few are based on random words or uses of the English language. Girafarig is a palindrome. Bulbasaur = Bulb, + Dinosaur.

    I also believe that there is a list in Pokemon General, so I'm going to close this, since there is already a thread like this in the forum. Thanks ^_^
