Why is it that whenever one goes into the User CP to edit his/her profile, if he/she has no Nautre set, and forgets to change the setting in the "Natures" section, it is automatically set to "Adamant"

Because that's the first thing on the list and I don't think that it's programed to leave it empty instead of putting the first thing it sees.- 8,146

Yeah, all you really need to do is set it to the blank one if you don't want it. It's just a default is all.
