Okay, I've been playing Emerald non-stop since last night. I only have 3 members of the team I plan on having by the end of the game. I haven't really used most of these Pokemon, so I don't know their movesets as well as others. I just wanted some different Pokemon.

    Arcko / Grovyle Lv. 34
    - Leaf Blade
    - Pursuit
    - Quick Attack
    - Screech

I always end up with the same sets for a Sceptile, so I'd like some different opinions. I don't plan on replacing Leaf Blade though. I hate Giga Drain and Solarbeam.

    Simsala / Alakazam lv. 34
    - Confusion
    - Psybeam
    - Calm Mind
    - Recover

I haven't really raised an Alakazam, but I know it can be a powerhouse. I just want some opinions. I really hate having two Psychic attacks, by the way. It's really bugging me. And yes, Psychic will be in the final set.

    Dodongo / Camerupt lv. 34
    - Ember
    - Magnitude
    - Rock Slide
    - Amnesia

I love this set. Obviously Flamethrower > Ember and Earthquake > Magnitude. I'm considering Rest > Amnesia once I get the TM for it and Rock Slide is a keeper. But feel free to throw in suggestions.

The rest of my team will be Electrode, Crawdaunt, and Regice. I just want to use some Pokemon I haven't used, so that's why they're there. And I just have an urge to use a Regi, and Regice is my favorite of the trio, so that's gonna be my choice. I'd love some help with movesets for them because I haven't really had experience with them. I won't consider switching any of the planned team since I'm basically just experimenting. I also don't care about competitive sets, EVs, natures, yadda. It's just a fun in-game run. Thanks in advance! :)

I've found that Dragon Claw works real well on Sceptile. I would also go for Giga Drain. It does actually come in handy once Overgrowth kicks in and you're fighting anythign that doesn't resist it. XD

Since they're special in GenIII, Alakazam can make good use of the elemental punches, although I'm not entirely sure how you get them on him since they're not TMs. >_>

That's all I got for now. If you had a special-oriented Water-type (Crawdaunt is physical IIRC), Electrode can serve well as a Rain Dance/Thunder lead, but with no pokemon to take advantage of the other rain effects, it's not worth building a whole set around. XD

I'll consider Dragon Claw. It's a great TM, that's for sure. But I'm still iffy on Giga Drain. I just don't like it, especially with 5 PP when Leaf Blade has a high crit-hit ratio and 10 more PP.

Yeah, but you can't get them til Battle Frontier, so that's out. I would have considered them, though.

I might consider that, however with the lack of a Damp Rock in gen III, I don't rely on weather moves too much. But throw a Thunder onto Kazam and Regice as well and it would work, but I really hate that move. XD Just...bulky. It kinda bothers me. But I might start giving it a try. The animation for it is awesome.
