These are my strongest so it would take me awhile to level up....
I need a strategy to defeat red... (if generation is wrong srry i always get those messed up

    My team is
    Typhlosion
    LVL:72
moves:FLame wheel, lava plume, rock climb, blast burn
    Item:expert belt

    Lugia
    lvl:52
    moves:extrasensory, punishment, hydro pump, aeroblast
    item:quickclaw

    Ho-oh
    Lvl:70
moves:sacred fire punishment, ancient power, safeguard
    item:wacan berry

    Gyarados
    lvl:33
moves:bite, dragon rage, rock smash, twister
    item:muscle band

    Seaking
    lvl:25
moves:super sonic, horn attack, waterpulse, flail
    item:none

    Poliwhirl
    lvl:24
moves:Water gun, double slap, raindance, body slam
    Item:None

I know its a pitiful team but its all i got, any strategy suggestions?

My suggestion would be to train train train. Get all of your members up to at least level 60, and you may want to look up EV training. But even if you don't EV train the raw stats you get by leveling are going to make a huge difference, and I'm assuming you're not doing too well relying mostly on Typhlosion and Ho-oh. And try getting a more diverse team; you really don't need three water types and two fire types. Try a Grass type like Victreebell or something, or maybe Electric or something, it doesn't really matter but you'll need better typing variation as well as training.
And also, it IS in the wrong Generation lol. Should be in fourth, if you're talking about HG/SS.

yeah ull really need to train hard do like he said get them all to about 60 and use type advantages ive always found it useful if there useing somthing that is on the ground to use earthquake

I dont get much training because my ds has a habit of freezing in the middle of something. If you could fight on pokemon games the way they do in the anime(use the terrain move around etc) i would beable to win easier....

    woooowwwwwwww, baby boy

hey wats up, u made the same mistake i made when i 1st started my journey, luckily for u that was back in gen I, and i learned not to do it again. u relied on ur starter pkmn for everything. i hope ur talking about gold and silver gen 2, jk heart and soul, rite. well i just looked at the team he has and the only difference is he had espeon and not lapras, all the other were the same. the level are about the same too. my friend u dont stand a chance, sorry to say. if it were up to me keep ur typhlosion, lugia, gyarados and ho oh, the other two will set u back for the moment being. my strategy is simple same as i did in 98. keep beatin the elite four with ur pkmn until they get stronger. in my case i have a charizard, 7-sumtin, zapdos 55, nidoking and pidgeot both 45, raticate 3-sumting and a butterfree, i had no mewtwo cause i didnt know it was a one chance deal as with articuno and moltres, i basically kept beating the elite for over and over again, my charizard was the first to reach level 99, not a 100 cause i tries cloning it and erased it by mistake, all the others reached 77 zapdos , 65 nido and pidgeot, 56 raticate and butterfree i trained them in pairs, so i would have one go on a roll and get a whole bunch of exp. my game erased itself after that.

any back to u, train ur pkmn in pair, buy alot of revives and potions and start beating the league with ho oh and typhlosion, keep them close level wise not more then 3 to 5 level difference until they get to lv, 90 or so. if u have the exp share use it on gyarados and lugia, since they will take the longest to level up bc of there lvl, ur moves for gyarados, should include hypro pump, either thunder or fire blast, dragon pulse and hyper beam or earth quake, like that he'll be ready to take on any of them, with the right lvl of course, lugia, extrasensory, recover, hydro pump and aero blast. train these 4 to anywhere between 85 to 90 and u should have a fighting chance. give quickclaw to gyarados, lugia is alrady one of the fastest pkmn in any game, teach typhlosion a strong fighting move erase the weakest fire move, a pkmn with different types of new and learned moves stands a better chance then its basic moves, not dissin ur starter, my charizard knew flame thrower, earthquake, thunder punch and subsmission, like that it was ready to go up against a water type, ice type, rock and ground type, im not saying its gonna make him unbeatable, but his chances to do more damage to different pkmn he would not harm on a daily basis would improve.

dats all i got for u, beat da league a few dozen times, diversify ur set of moves, dont use all six, concentrate of ur for strongest. good luck buddy anything else send me a message ok.

if any body else has anything to add to dis be my guest, seeing as this is my personal opinion and every trainer trains differently, and opinions may vary.

    wat a team huh.

ok first of you need to train ALOT and dont use 3 water types stick with gyrados and you shouldnt really use legenarys 1 they take for eve to raise 2 in the anime none of the main charecters use them for a reason 3 it take the fun out of the game 4 it feels like cheating
im actualy wondering how you made it so far in the game and if you were mainly focusing on training typholsion then it should be a LOT higher level here is the team i used to take down red the first time

You don't need blizzard and ice beam... perish song would be better in one of those slots

    3 fire moves..?

    nidoqueen 86 pikachu

    poison jab

    attract

3 moves of the same type?? Dragonite is a sweeper not an assist poke.

    metagross 76 assist pokemon
    psychic venusaur
    hammer arm snorlax
    zen headbut venasaur
    meteor mash

    Meta has bad sp atk....

    ampharos 75 ;apras and blastoise
    thunder bolt
    rock climb
    discharge
    power gem

Why are you putting moves of the same type on these pokemon? Amphy also has bad atk...why would u use rock climb?

dragonight was their mainly because its awsomly strong its out rage can take down almost anything

i realy do wondwer how your pokemons levels can be so low as this is what my teams levels were as i also have a

Two moves of the same type? You need hypnosis in there also.

    hittmonchan 62
    thunder punch
    ice punch
    fire punch
    sky uppercut

    blaziken 64
    fire blast
    aerial ace
    blaze kick
    sky uppercut
Blaziken has terrible sp. atk, and once again you have 2 moves of the same type.

    charazard 66
    flare blitz
    wing attack
    flamethrower
    heat wave

Charizard has terrible atk, and you have 3 fire moves?

    tyrantar 61
    crunch
    thrash
    stone edge
    earthquake

    swampert 63
    earthquake
    icebeam
    surf
    take down

Why would you put all these special moves on Swampert?

as well as another 19 pokemon ovr level50

and 26 pokemon over level 40

and several other bpokemon ive raised up then stopped using for one reason or another You seem like a beginning trainer.
