I started the game all over again for the fun of it and now i cant beat Cynthia, =/
You guys got any suggestions? Here is my current team which i can training at the moment. Money is no problem as i have plenty so please help.

    Torterra lv57

    -Crunch
    -Razor Leaf
    -Earthquake
    -Leaf Storm

    Staraptor lv53

    -Aerial Ace
    -Fly
    -Close Combat
    -Brave Bird

    Rapidash lv53

    -Bounce
    -Flamethrower
    -Solarbeam
    -Fire Blast

    Palkia lv52

    -Surf
    -Shock Wave
    -Dragon Claw
    -Spacial Rend

Im not gonna make big changes, just little suggestions:
*get rid of razor leaf on torterra, go sythesis as it will allow you to survive most things. The elite 4 are too dumb to 1HKO you
*get rid of fly for roost on raptor. Same reason as above, though he's more fragile so careful
*Swap bounce for sunny day on rapidash. Boosts fire moves and gets rid of charge ups for solar beam. also means you dont have to charge against water types. Also get rid of one of your fire moves for either megahorn or poisin jab to increase coverage.
*Swap drangon claw for ice beam on palkia, and you have coverage for pretty much every type.
*Get Uxie. It screws over the elite four. Whenever they KO a poke, bring out uxie and lol at their attacks while you revive them. Its the best early wall in the game

There, i could give more info but its not really needed. The elite four are easy as long as you can keep your sweepers alive :)

Not for the elite four, Its perfectly viable. You forget that the elite four are easy, you dont need to spend time getting extra pokemon when they all do fine.

thanks anyone have any more recommendations to my moveset? already took gofre's advice and got poisen jab and sunny day, on my way to get ice beam

Gdgd, while poisin jab doesnt have that much coverage it offers more than 2 fire moves, and the poisining is very handy.
Here's a mistake i made in my noob days, but ill share the wisdom anyway; Dont thunderbolt milotic! i thought it would be the best thing to do but i later found out milotic is a killer special wall. Yes its obvious but to most people who are just starting out its overlooked.

New point: Ive seen torterra is somewhat lacking in the SpAtt department compared to his att, so swap Leafstorm for Woodhammer. It remedies the above milotic problem, and you have synthesis to heal the recoil damage.

Use the Lucario given to you. thats the main pokemon i used for my brother though i dont care for lucario

    Torterra lv57

    -Crunch
    -Razor Leaf/WoodHammer
    -Earthquake
    -Synthesis

^Torterra's got good Attack and bad Sp.Attack. I was fine using Razor Leaf, but Wood Hammer would work better. And, Synthesis'll help you a lot more than Leaf Storm.

    Staraptor lv53

    -Aerial Ace
    -Roost
    -Close Combat
    -Brave Bird

^As said previously, use Roost. No need for Fly with Aerial Ace, and it's a terrible move in battles anyways.

    Rapidash lv53

    -Sunny Day
    -Flamethrower
    -Solarbeam
    -Stomp/Megahorn

Sunny Day if you're using Solarbeam; not to mention it helps with Flamethrower. Don't use Fire Blast unless you can't get Flamethrower. It has terrible accuracy, low PP, and without something to back that up it's likely to hit only one to three times out of the five it's got. I belive I used Stomp for my Rapidash in the E4, but Megahorn might work better, as it's a useful move (also fun).

    Palkia lv52

    -Surf
    -Shock Wave
    -Dragon Claw
    -Spacial Rend

^Not sure for Palkia. Seeing as it's an uber, it's probably got the stats to back just about anything in-game up, even a terrible only-dragon set. This seems to work well.

Stuff an Ice move somewhere in there; Cynthia's Garchomp is merciless. And, not sure if there's any way possible at this point, but if you can find anything with access to Heal Block, it will devestate Cynthia's Milotic and save you a lot of aggravation due to Aqua Ring. That move will drive you crazy.

Just level them up a few times

Pies basically regurgitated what i said, but what he added was wrong. Fire-blast is not bad, its good. It only misses an average of 1 every 10 attacks, ethers and elixirs are relatively common, and PP raisers give it up to 8, easily enough to kill the majority of problem pokemon. You also contradicted yourself by suggesting megahorn, a move with an accuracy as low as FB.Stomp's strength is too low to accomplish anything, its not super-effective against anything either.
And like Knight said, leveling always helps :)

I guess it all depends on how u train them im sure if u get the right moves and the right strategy eventually you will beat them. You need them at at least the within 10 levels of the opponents level. Good luck!!

i completed it with almost that team except i had diaglia instead of palkia and luxray + floatzel
But i've heard u can complete it with just uxie + azelf with some other not so strong pokemon

Almost anything is good in-game. Just train them up levels really high xD And you can start by getting two more pokemon :x

    She.

And about the Fire Blast thing, it's just that I've never known it to be worth using. Besides, if Rapidash has Flamethrower, there's no need for both.
