I'm fairly new to romhacking, and very new to pokecommunity. I've been trying to create a new Diamond romhack. All the other aspects haven't caused problems, but when trying to expand the pokedex and add pokemon by editing the hex data, the new pokemon entries don't appear in the DSPRE editor by AdAstra. DSPRE can be found https://github.com/AdAstra-LD/DS-Pokemon-Rom-Editor.
Specifically, I followed this tutorial https://projectpokemon.org/home/forums/topic/56049-pokemon-dp-adding-new-pokemon-species/. I edited the zukan_data, personal, and pms narc files and replaced the original ones with the edited files. But, the new pokemon, which should exist without any stats, typing, etc., either isn't recognized by DSPRE's mon editor or wasn't successfully added.
If you have any knowledge of why this may be, it would be much appreciated.
