I know that this has probably been asked a hundred times but where is the best place to find the lati. Is there any place where they tend to be at all? PLEASE post any tips on their location.

3rd Gen Need help with Latios/Latias Emerald

I usually find them around Mauville City since it's kind of a central point in Hoenn. Maybe around Fallarbor Town is also a good place. Basically any city that leads out to two routes. Especially Mauville since it is surrounded by 4.
Get some Max Repels. Grab a Pokemon, preferably one at level 39. Go to Slateport. Route above it. Spray Repel. Lead with level 39 Pokemon. Walk (not bike) in the grass. If it doesn't show up, walk in the Cycling Road building and then walk back out (or walk down into Slateport again). Check grass again. Rinse and repeat. Use Q&A thread next time, please.
