3rd Gen NEED HELP WITH LINKING

    So me and my friend want to battle each other on our game boy adv. I have pokemon blue and he has red. But when ever we try to link the 2 games it wont work. We have tried 4 different cords and tried different gba's. But it still does not work. Any ideas?
     
    With Red and Blue, you need a special cord you can probably find on eBay or Amazon. But normally, the GBAs will not work with games that old, sorry. The name of the cord slips my mind at the moment, I'm afraid. Please use the simpler Q&A next time, or if you still have more questions about this.
