[Other] Need help with rom hacking

    Hey !

    I'm new to this forum, and new to ROM Hacking.
    I have some idea's for a hacked rom, but I don't know how to do it.
    So, what are the tools, what do you need to know and how to start it. I don't expect to do some advanced ♥♥♥♥, but I want to add some pokemons, change some lines of people, and so on.

    If you guys could help me start, that'd be great!

    Some great tools that I use are xse for scripting, advance map for mapping, a-trainer for battles. Look on the tool and tutorial section of the rom hacking forums and there is lots of cool stuff. My personal favourite tutorial is the one by Diegoisawsome
