[Pricing] Neo Genesis Box Set Factory Sealed Value

Hi all,

I am trying to get a valuation of a sealed booster box of pokemon cards and wondered if you could give me a ballpark value. I received the cards from a relative in a will and I have no real idea of the value other than some old listings on ebay which are in other currencies I am in UK so GBP estimate please!

Oh gosh. You have an insanely rare and Wanted box set there. The prices for something like this are Im betting lowest $15,000 to anywhere up to $20,000 to maybe mid 20ks.
I know 1st edition Sealed neo genesis Box set goes for mid 30k
I realized Im not sure if this was neo genesis or another neo set. As each one holds a different price range.
I would hold onto that for awhile. These vintage sealed box sets from Neo and before are gonna be impossible to find one day because they have all been bought up and opened.
I bet it gains 1k every year. I mean 20 years from now it's gonna be insane.

Or you can open the box and sell the packs. You would get way more I believe. Seeing packs going for $300 low and much higher.

If you were a pokemon vintage collector and fan It would be so hard not to open those packs. God. Opening them and then selling the cards as singles and hoping to get one of the super rare holos in gem mint condition to be graded is the stupid but Priceless golden choice my dum dum brain would justify.
