If the NB registry is down, you can still reach the servers by typing their IP address. Some of the more popular servers' IP address are as follows:
nb.smogon.com or 70.82.107.51 - Smogon
nb.pokerealm.net or 67.100.204.93 - Pokerealm
69.115.39.19 - Nachtara Netbattle
For Smogon and PR, you can just use the first address, though if those don't work, that means that you'll need to type the direct IP one (the 2nd address).
Those are just enough IP addresses to know when the registry is down, though if anyone wants another one to be added, then PM me, or someone else with auth, to add it.
