[Map] New and need basic help with AdvanceMap

    I've looked over hours of tutorials and they all seem to gloss over the simplest(should be) part of advance map. How do you make a map without writing over an existing map. I looked up the answer and some people were saying there is no way and others were saying there was a way. I might be the biggest idiot known to man, but I really need to be able to make a separate map consistently before I start putting time into map making. A detailed step by step would be much appreciated. Thank You.

    P.S. how do you edit the world map?
