    EDIT: I wish the Umby had taunt. >=(
     
    Taunt wouldn't help as much anyway, since he's slower than both Girafarig and Houndoom. (unless you Snatched an Agility from Girafarig).
     
    Actually, I had a think about this and decided on the move order (cos the computer AI is dumb like that, basically does a set series of moves).

    Turn 1: Girafarig used Calm Mind
    Turn 2: Girafarig used Calm Mind
    Turn 3: Girafarig used Agility
    Turn 4: Girafarig used Baton Pass

    Now, he will do these moves regardless of what Umbreon does. Even if Umbreon Snatches all three moves, he will BPass to Houndoom. Umbreon's only offensive move is Shadow Ball, so he will probably pass to Cacturne.

    Now, here comes the interesting part. If Umbreon has Snatched all three moves, you are a winner, since you have Calm Mind x 2 to protect you and Agility means you go ahead of Houndoom. Even though Needle Arm and Faint Attack are not very effective, they will do enough damage to lower his health down. Houndoom will use Roar when in play to negate the stat boosts you've Snatched. Now, he will switch back to Girafarig and repeat the process. If you've left Umbreon in when Houndoom appears, he will Will-O-Wisp it then proceed to Flamethrower it. Even with 2 Calm Minds, Umbreon will take heavy damage from WoW + Flamethrower and even if he KOes Houndoom with Shadow Ball (which will only happen rarely cos of critical hits, by the time Houndoom gets to low health his Petaya berry will kick in), he cannot damage Girafarig. Girafarig can Calm Mind out to survive Cacturne's Faint Attack enough so he can finish that off with Stomp.
