Yes I have desided to start writing a story about my travels in Kanto. Yes I'm an oldie and like to stay in the 151 range. Although I will include a few pokemon from the 250 range. I enjoy most of them too.
Anyways I hope you can read this and rate it. Tell me any spelling mistakes, grammar errors but please dont tell me what to add or take out. This is my story.
Thank you and enjoy.

"I can't beleive it. In 3 days I'll be in Pallet town with my first pokemon and starting on my own adventure!'
"Yes thats wonderful but I thought you didn't want to fight you pokemon"
"Just because Professor Oak thinks I'm going to be a pokemon trainer doesn't mean I have to be one. I really want to be a Pokemon Groomer or something similiar. Maybe I could make a health spa! That way they can get groomer/relaxed/work out all at one place while their trainers go off to do stuff in town." said a young girl around the age of 16. Granted she might just be the oldest one to be in Pallet town on Monday but her mother would not let her go any younger. It didn't bother Missie any since those 6 years enabled her to study pokemon even more indepth than most of the beginner pokemon trainers.
The girl stood next to her bed with her black Skitty backpack slumped over showing that it was still empty. She looked around her room eyeing everything carefully thinking of what was really needed on her trip. Finally she moved to her desk and unplugged her laptop. It was thin and black with a sneasel's face on the top. This girl was fasinated with cat like pokemon more than anything already. She wished a Skitty could be a starter pokemon. She slid the laptop in sideways and laid the backpack down as to not let the expensive laptop topple over.
"And how do you expect that not to get broken on your journey?" asked her mother who was standing in the doorway with her arms crossed and leaning against the frame.
"Well unless your going to give me that Porygon carrier..." she hinted.
"Fine fine you can have it! But I better not get a call asking for another one. You know the pokeGear that Prof. Oak will give you everything you need."
Her mother stood up strait and walked down the hall to retrieve the carrier. Missie shook her head and mumbled about PokeGear not having internet nor keeping up to date with the news. Now she pulled out the laptop and set it next to the backpack and going to her desk again getting her cell phone, drawing pad, pencils, colored pencils, Identification card, and a few other small things that she might not even need but wanted all the same. With her arms filled she went back to the bed and put everything in it's right pocket. Sighing slightly she sat down making the bed creak slightly and looked around again. What else did she need? Mom would be giving her some food and money. She stood up and rushed over to her drawing. Of course she was going to need clothes! She hurried to put in some jeans, shirts, personals, and some socks. Then her mom walked in next to her and slipped the laptop into it's holder.
"Well I know you dont like to carry anything in your hands for too long so I brought this strap," she showed Missie two long think black straps, "to tie it around and snuggly to the backpack. I hope you dont mind the extra poundage."
"Of course not. I'm going to have to get used to it sooner or later"
"Ah well I guess thats right. But you know your not the most fit child out there."
'Ha ha very funny mom." She glared playfully at her mom as she chuckled slighty.
"Well now that I got everything I need packed it's time to get changed. Out out you go mom!" Missie shooed her mom out the door and locked the door. She stripped down and went over to her dresser. She pulled out a yellow tShirt and fitted it over her head. It was all yellow except for black sloppy letters which spelled out "Bad Skitty' on the side with 5 paws going from the bottom right to the middle left side. Now she slipped on some faded black jean shorts. She walked over to the closet and opened the creaky wodden doors and pulled out a tiny black jacket. The size made it looked like it belonged to a little sister of Missie but alas she did not have any siblings. She liked how people asked how she fit into this. On the back was an evil looking Mew. Missie wasn't all for following trends but she did enjoy how she looked in black.
Unlocking her door she went down the hall and into the bathroom. She bent over the sink and began to soak her hair in the water quickly. Her hair was as short as a guy's, and often mistaken for a male from the way she dressed, but she thought it fit herself quick nicely. She staggered over to the towel rack and quickly dried her hair just enough so it didn't drip. She jammed some gel into her hands and began to spike her hair. Grinning into the mirror at herself she made it down to the kitchen to kiss her mom good bye.
After taking the food her mother had packed and checking her list over twice she hugged and kissed her mom she headed to the door.
'I sure hope you dont plan on walking all that way." her mother called out just before she closed the door.
"I..er.. shoot I knew I forgot something!" Missie turned around and looked at her mother. "I sure hope you havea pokemon I can borrow."
"Well you get a choice of Pidgeot or Ponyta.'
"Hmm... Pidgeot would fly their quickly enough but then Pontya could use the exercise and the scenery would be nice. But she can't go over the water. Could I borrow both?"
'Fine but when you get to Pallet I want you to send them back by PC"
Her mother tossed her two premier balls and shoved them onto her black and silver belt. After thanking her mom again by kissing her good bye she headed out the door. Closing it behind her she looked up and down the street. Finally...today she was leaving little old Lavender and heading on a journey like no other. Free at last!
